When I look at Kingmaker, all I see is the HUGH opportunity they missed for doing something like this with Ash in Evil Dead.
Blowing knights off their horses and cutting down zombies with his chainsaw in a huge open world based in the medieval world he got sucked into.
And while we were talking about medieval, I think the developers blew it with Blight Survival compared to how they talk about it and what they are going to turn it into. When I think it would have been so much better, like a more Zombie Army game only instead of with guns, you only had medieval weapons.

Showa American Story tops my list too. It looks so much like my kind of weird and wild, plus it's third-person action and the lead is a cute redhead. What's not to love Kingmakers it also right up there for me. Man, it's looks like it could be fun as hell! I sure hope it's good, and yeah, why haven't we seen this sort of thing before Portal Fantasy has been a genre for decades, why don't more games do stuff with that I'm also really interested in Clair Obscur. It looks gorgeous, and I find the premise fascinating.

Arc 2 is never coming. It's a lie. They haven't realized ANY alpha footage, just design art and the cinematic trailer. How are you not in alpha or at least game play footage in Nov if it's releasing in 2025 It will be pushed back to at least 2026 but likely NEVER since they just charged ARK 1 players $70 to play the updated game. that's how they are making money now. they might as well be owned by Gamigo, just bleed dry the base until they all leave.

AA: Standard gameplay (TPS, FPS) with a few unique mixed features for variety, graphics almost at AAA level but with a bit of jank.
AAA: Just your typical TPS, FPS, and lots of cutscenes (with a few exceptions.

4: 00 Darkest of Days was a game that tried to do this, some sort of time travely sci-fi thing where you'd join major turning-point battles and eventually get non-period sci-fi weapons by the end of the missions, I can't remember if you take on the role of a time traveler or a soldier of the era who is given the non-period armaments.

blocks dodges parries against a dinosaur please can someone take a sanity check here. Ark2 is a slow motion train wreck. so while NOT looking forward to the game i am enjoying the crash and burn of studio wildcard and their Owner Snail Games. We have a better chance of World Peace than Ark2 ever coming out

Ahh the wonderful false hope of ark 2. All while the devs are currently just rereleasing the same crappy maps while calling it survival ascended. The only thing right about this is calling the ark devs a AA game and not a AAA game like they think they are. Don’t hold your breath on ark 2

I highly doubt Ark 2 will release next year. It's not even known if Ark survival Ascended will get it's full release that year, which was originally the plan.
But I'm excited for the new DLC considering this will be their first new map in UE5

The Alters, The Precinct and First Berserker looks interesting. Expedition 33 looks so good I'm kinda worried it seems too good to be true. It gives me Black Myth Wukong trailer hype I'm just hoping they can pull it off as they did.

Legend of Dragon, Mario RPG, Paper Mario, Lost Odyssey, to name a few did the reaction, turn based combat. But would be the first time for a Tactics type game doing it. Like a Medieval Xcom with Mario RPG mechanics would be fire.

BRO not having MECHABREAK on this list is criminal, not sure if it's AA or AAA, but man if it isn't the best class based team FPS game to come out in recent time. It's the best feeling game I've played in a long time.

I can’t wait to play Ark 2! I hope it’s like the first one where you try to play it but when you log on there are pillars everywhere so you can’t build anything. That’s my experience anyway.

10: 16 - RE: Expedition 33 is hardly unique, at least based on the handful of videos we have about it. All the Super Mario RPGs have the same combat system. Combat UI is also reminiscent of Persona.

AA games are the best form of games, we should have a ton less money poured into AAA games and have a fraction of it invested into AA games. Investors, devs and gamers would all be much happier.
