What makes suicide squad bad is not the many things people think about normally.
The problem is that they clearly had a secret plot that the justice league were actually clones, and that the real ones would likely be freed/saved later only to scrap those plans after the terrible reception of the game. And many parts of the game hint it that. King shark not having control over the ring, flash’s finger regenerating, superman being able to resist gold kryptonite, Batman’s puzzle indicating he’d be back, and Wonder Woman being the only one who couldn’t be cloned because she is made from sand.

Unknown 9 was not a preexisting IP the inception came all at the same time. Bandai set out to make this Universe into a multimedia franchise, with Podcasts and written stories, but the game itself is the funneling point. All the other stuff came first (bc games, even horrible ones take a long time to make) but was designed to get people interested in the game, it’s not like this was a massive IP spanning books, and television, and Podcasts, and then they were like let’s make a game. The game was the genesis, and the other junk came earlier bc it was easier to push out.

i dont understand the hate the new life is strange game gets, i played it, had a lot of fun, the writing wasnt bad at all and its a good but unfortunately short story thats probably a set up for the next big life is strange game and i think it was comparable to the other lis games, its fandom seems to get annoyed with everything deck nine does with it and doesnt actually try to enjoy the story but are only nitpicking what they think was bad about the game

If I were going to make a new South Park game I'd use the kids' wrestling characters, in the same world and battle system as the first two games. They would obviously start out as amateur backyard wrestlers but work their way up to becoming pros, perhaps forming their own league and touring the country and maybe even go international with Lucha Libre, Greco-Roman, Sumo, Judo, etc. Maybe even throw in some mud/oil/jello wrestling in too, hahah.

Sucks seeing Life is strange here but not surprised. Life is strange has potential to be in a best games list but recently have been disappointing and nothing has come close to the original life is strange. This new game just doesn't feel like a worthy sequel and isn't by anyone who made the original so honestly doesn't feel worth the time unless you really want another life is strange experience.

I thought you were kidding when you teased Double Exposure on this list as a red herring. I really enjoyed it and had fun going through the story a few times. People were just mad that Chloe wasn't prominently in it and hate that people's lives aren't static after all the time that passed. Probably the same people who hate Last of Us 2 for Joel dying.

I was honestly so disappointed with skull and bones, i have been waiting for it ever since it was announced. and honestly they had such a strong base to work off of. if they had just made a multi-player mix of black flag and the original sea dogs with the ability to buy new and better ships not just upgrade the one ship, they would have cleaned up

Trying to think of what games I bought this year. Helldivers. And I think that was it. And I didn't even play it that much. Spending 30 minutes on a mission just to fail was hard to find enjoyment. When when it was going good, it was a freaking blast. Keep telling myself I'll circle back, but I havent yet. Keep finding enjoyment in other games.

I think it's important to note that the ONLY reason why Suicide Squad is getting content still is because they legally have to for those that bought the ultimate edition, which was a staggering amount of players. Yes, they can easily refund the players, but legally, they are obligated to give content due to how the game was marketed.

Way to fix this problem no one buy any games that dont have gameplay information not cinematic thats just false advertising all trailers should be gameplay if the game is worth it then it should actually increase revenue instead of lying yall messed up bc the only game now anyone is looking to get is gta vi

I suspect Champions Tactics characters were made with Hero Forge's assets. They look TOO MUCH alike. the art style, the bases, the textures, the poses and all that. I can't say for sure, but if they didn't work with Hero Forge, they straight up ripped it off, or at the very least plagiarized it.

i dont think Life is Strange Double Exposure should be on here. this a large subset of the Life Is Strange fandom that will never love a game that chloe is in or never be satisfied for other reasons. There were several good reviews. The opinions were mixed but mixed doesn't mean straight up bad.

I’ll take it to the grave with me but Suicide Squad does not deserve to be on a suck list. Disappointing Yes. Suck No way. Game had a lot of potential and had a lot of fun systems, it just didn’t deliver longevity or the promises made. Next to some of the games of this list its way out of place

For me, 'Suicide Squad' was akin to the multiplayer version of 'Gotham Knights', give or take. It effectively killed the franchise for me and has led me to no longer expect anything positive from WB. Both games were the most disappointing of their respective launch years in every aspect.

Dragon's Dogma 2 deserves to be put onto this list. It wasn't just a major disappointment; it was a barebones, lifeless mess that literally abandoned its godawful story, had no enemy variety, was anti-QoL, stripped vocations down to nothing, and was and still is a technical failure.

I feel like most of the time when I see a list like this, I have at least heard of these games prior to them being on the list and can guess and predict what games would be on a list like this.
Most of the games on this one however Never have heard of them until now.

I wouldn't say Dragon's Dogma 2 sucked but for me it was the most disappointing release of the year, what with how hyped it was and how much i liked the first one, but the end result was a horribly optimized game that didn't actually improve that much on the first one.

Seriously, Unknown 9 is on this list While it was not great it was a fair AA game that had some interesting gameplay. Also, Life is Strange (DE) was not terrible either. It was certainly way better than the previous one with its DEI crap and 2 hour play time.

People say outlaws was really bad but I liked it! The first 4 hours were kinda lame and I had no idea what was going on but it really opened up around 10 hours or so and I have enjoyed ever since!

I'm not sure it would've been any better if DontNod would've made Lis: Double exposure. They made LIS 2 and in my opinion it's the worst LIS that I've ever played and I found it really uninteresting (played every title except Double Exposure)
