Its almost always hard, but thats one the coolest things it has imo, you really feel your progression.
My last game started as a guy with a dog, and ended with 28 characters taking full control of the swamp gangs by kidnaping almost all their leaders... was REALLY hard but yeah, you are a complete nobody trying to survive a hostile world, and thats the challenge.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms series -- You can start out as a lowly low level officer or a rogue, and end up as a general if you grind enough. You don't even have to join a faction if you want to, you can just wonder around and gather gold or cause chaos, or create your own faction.

Ihave tried to get inal Fantasy games several times. But something about those Japanese RPGs with the giant ridiculous looking swords and all that button mashing. Yuck. And why does everyone have such pointy hair?

Nice to see kenshi in here. Reason why I like it because I don't have to save the world or become overlord or something. I can just become a drifter wandering the world and ruin in post apocalypse world.

Thank God kenshi was in here I new it would be kenshi when I saw the title haha, kenshi is still one of my all time favorites never played anything as unique and outrageous.

I'm so glad KCD is on here. I wholeheartedly love this game and I'm dying for a sequel or prequel. Hopefully Warhorse gives us one someday

Oblivion was my nobody game. I played for over a hundred hours before ever doing the first thing in the main quest. Still don-t know what it is.
