10 insane little details we love in video games

Some video games include painstakingly small details that we really enjoy. Here are some satisfying examples BlueKnight: Another thing I really appreciated about HZD's Frozen Wilds DLC, is that when performing a roll, you can see that there's grass underneath it. Which isn't just a step up from the main game, but it's something that happens in reality. And that's honestly a pretty cool attention to detail!

-I just noticed that you guys re-use (or perhaps recycle) game footage.- I don-t mean that in a bad way, I would too as it-s an intelligent and well thought out strategy and shortcut, however I never noticed until I saw 2 videos back to back that had the same footage of Grand Theft Auto: V

Not that it was overly realstic, but I spent far too much time and got a strangely massive amount of satisfaction from lighting braziers and burning cobwebs in assassins creed origins. Was really annoyed if wasn't as good in Odyssey

It's crazy how almost every point in this video was included in Metal Gear Solid, with many many other details, and you didn't even mention it. Considering it was released in 1998 is really astonishing and it was groundbreaking.

kingdom come deliverance NPC will react and talk based on what you are wearing. Addressing you based on your looks (shining armor/dirty cloth etc).
haggling with dealers and dealing with guards also based on your looks.

In Hades, where you can actually pet Cerberus for no reason because you still have to give him Nectar to develop your bond with it. Hades also has a codex which is kind of a journal that is actually very useful

I think a lot of gamers forget to appreciate how far games have come with the details. I remember every town in Need for Speed 2 was exactly the same. All EA done was copy and paste the same buildings -

Can-t talk about snow deformation/physics without mentioning Steep. Being a snowboarding game obviously snows a big part of the core game but the realism of it and small details that go with it blew me away

Regarding rain, I really liked the rain in Cyberpunk, with the RTX and the reflections it was nice.
Now, Fallout 4, and the rain. geez. it was even wet inside buildings that had solid roofs... geez.

Anyone else find now that if it's bad weather in a game, you actually feel a little chilly yourself? Noticed this a lot with AC Valhalla and even recent driving sims like F1 or Wrc rally/dirt rally.
