Jaime
Lol xenogear! i still remember when my mom entered the room and my tv screen was dark and only had the sound of them running in the end credits. Are u watching porn Jaime?
no mom, this game's ending just sucks
I grinded and went through so much sh t to finish that game. My friend gave up and just used gameshark max level mod. it made the game impossible to beat. So i was the only kid in school that saw the ending. No one belived my porn story.
I also remember i had to start the game again cuz i got stuck in the sewers, with no mech, nothing, getting killed by the mob mechs. nice times
And No, i never played disgea (the jobless rpg.

- Ending of shadow of the collosus. That messed me up.
- The switch in the last quarter in manhunt. When the hunted becomes the hunter.
- god of war 1. When it's revealed it was you who killed your family. I really wanted to get ares after that.
- the last of us 2. That moment you get into the park/woods and everyone starts whistling. Not really a plottwist but the game shifts.
- red dead redemption 2. When Arthur realized he's sick at the doctor. That scene changed everything for me.
- Spec Ops the line. really did a number on me
Ah man. the yakuza games.

Honorable mention to 'Final Fantasy 6' ('Final Fantasy 3' in the U. S.
Playing through the world in the first half, gathering allies/espers to fight the empire and stop them from gaining a source of ultimate power. Then, after a huge 'incident', the game leaps ahead one year for the second half. Now you have to find your old allies again, this time to fight Kefka. However, the world is completely different as a result of Kefka's actions at the end of the first half.

Honestly this list missed out Warframe. Don t want to spoil for those who are new to the game, but the big reveal during the Second Dream quest was truly unbeatable in terms of both the surprise and the realisation that it s a lot more than just a regular sci fi looter shooter (I m sure someone can explain it better than me but it s still a top of the league reveal imo)

Can we just say. Nier automata had so many plot twist. Spoilers
First we find out humanity is extinct, next we find out the is a logic virus. Then 2b dies. Then turns out androids are made from machine cores then 9s goes insane. Then is turns out 2b was actually 2E

For the remake of vii, wasn't it stated for the second part that it was going to be more like the original, meaning what happened in the first entries ending is being thrown out the window or something? It's been ages so I can't remember

Wasn't expecting to Three Houses on this list, but yeah there's a huge emotional impact, watching old friends killing each other, makes you question what is the right thing to do, especially if you follow Edelgard's route, it's a great plot

I tend to miss these sorts of things. I feel like some games don t put enough emphasis on big story moments and they go passed my head. Idk. Story telling is getting better with games like
Guardians of the galaxy and stuff though.

The reason Edelgard being the villain is so surprising is because in all the ads it made it seem like Dimitri was going to be the villainous one when in reality he was just driven mad by what Edelgard had done.
