Been gaming almost thirty-five years, and still, some of these entries hurt my head. But the majority of these games and game genres just really aren t my thing. So they re often ones that I ve never even heard of or nothing but a passing glance. So I don t feel too bad. Man though, I would get so frustrated with many of these. Frustrated to the point of severely affecting my emotions haha.

The ONLY reason Escape from Tarkov is so difficult for new players is because BSG(the game developers) has put ALL the good guns, bullets, and armor behind a ridiculous Leveling Wall. I've had the game since release of the Alpha, and the developers have done nothing but make it harder for new players.
That, and not give a shit about all the hackers in the game.

honorable mentions would be Destiny 2, 5 years in it doesnt have a good onboarding, no explanation of Mods and the different systems, the leveling system, subclasses, core activities, Amazing Game and i adore it, but god damn, if i want to get someone into Destiny i have to hold their hand

I'd add Space Engineers right up there with Kerbal Space Program so far as initial learning curve. There's a LOT to digest before it starts making any sense at all. And because it also uses physics, if your design is out-of-whack it can have disastrous (albeit often hilarious) results.

I did not expect dcs to be the #1 hardest game.
Rant: yes there is a manual for most planes in the game but if you dont like reading 400+ pages on how every system works and how to use it, just watch videos on it. I learned all of my aircraft just through videos.

I actually recall AC2 being easy compared to Master of Arena. Granted, AC2 brought about new controls due to Dualshock controllers being taken advantage of finally. Master of Arena required you to use all 4 shoulder buttons as if you were using a right and left analogue.

I tried to get into Escape from Tarkov, that game is way too complicated for me. Like, I got shot only a few times, and healing and first aid is so damn needlessly complicated for some reason, just let me apply a kit to each limb/body part like in Fallout.

I liked the list, it's not stereotyped at all. I mean talking about difficult games and not mentioning the souls saga? Finally we are passed that.
Still I feel you could have done a better job explaining each game. It feels rushed and confusing.
