So its not okay to keep exclusives (Which PS has been handing them down like crazy to PC recently) but its okay to literally rob a series that was playable on all platforms before?
Seriously, how can you defend that? XD
I'm not too interested in discussion, you either agree with me or i don't care.
To me its quite obvious one should NOT make a previously open to all series an exclusive.
Its not even the only case of Xbox doing that either. Meanwhile i don't remember a single time PS did that, in fact, like i said, they've been much less strict on exclusives as of late, handing them out to PC.
Alas, empty words. If it was up to me, i'd just be rid of exclusivity deals all together. Let us all enjoy the games these wonderful people make together, without borders.

The blocking game really chaps my hide. I was a diehard PS user from it's inception until 2008. I went through four PS3 consoles in two years (back when they were 650 a piece. After the fourth burned up (it was about five months old) and Sony refused to do anything about it I bought an Xbox 360 out of frustration. I still have it and play it. I'm still playing the Xbox One S I bought in 2016. Never had the first issue with either of them. I'm even still using the original controllers that came with each system while I had to replace my PS controllers 2-3 times a year. I have not played a PS 4 or 5 but get irritated that so many great games are exclusive to a single console that I refuse to buy. I get that it's totally my prerogative but players shouldn't have to buy two competing console systems just so they can enjoy the best new titles. I get if the game is made by a Sony-owned (or Microsoft-owned) developer and they want to keep it for their system but these third-party developers should look at the big picture. There's no way the extra loot they get for keeping it PS or Xbox exclusive matches the bank they would make opening it up to everyone. Still. probably just my frustration talking. ;-)

It doesn t make sense to make COD exclusive but it does make sense to make Starfield, Elder Scrolls, Fallout and possibly all of Bethesda own devs like ID with Doom and Machine Games with Wolfenstein, etc etc exclusive? Oookaaayyyy Xbox, then go on to call all the funds Sony dumps into their exclusive developers that goes to development of the game blocking fees. That is like saying Microsoft Flight Sim and Forza aren t on PlayStation because of blocking fees.
Sony isn t any better btw.
These aren t businesses being candid, these are billion dollars corporations straight lying as loosely as they can in an attempt to maximize their bottom line. You re an idiot if you believe any corporation has your best interest at mind beyond the money you are willing to throw at them.

People don't seem to understand delays. Game companies do not want their releases delayed any more than you do because it actually causes them to potentially lose TONS OF MONEY, there are a lot of repercussions in the business side of things when companies miss their targets, be thankful that they are delaying it otherwise they could just not give a shit and give us a release now fix later game like with what we usually get from the big companies,
think CDPR, they went through multiple delays but THEY KNEW they needed to delay it further to actually finish the game but released the game anyway because they were already losing money by the minute by delaying it 3 times.

Devs putting up release dates for their games only to delay and post pone is honestly my personal red flag in modern gaming and idk why people are being so positive about it when games like Duke Nukem forever or better yet CP2077 is a thing.
It really shows that they have a huge lack of commitment and confidence with their own games and plus worried other games will get all the sales money.
Like those devs should take notes from From Software, if you placed a release date. You better damn well commit to it and if you're not then stop putting up release dates and work on your damn game rather than hyping it up.

I'm no expert on this kinda of stuff but for the most part or at the very least bigger name games, I feel like exclusives are never as profitable as putting a game on as many consoles as possible. This does come from a sentiment of wanting to be able to play certain exclusives so im biased of course but for a game like horizon new dawn I cant help but think whatever cost to port it would easily be made up for if it was put on xbox and pc. Course tho I know the dumbasses at sony in this case just want to hold it hostage so people buy a ps5 and stuff

Game development should not be referred to as in the 'oven' anymore, but intstead in the slow-cooker. Slow cooked meat (especially when it's marinated with some exotic spices) is just the best meat you'll ever eat. What I'm saying is, take years. Even if the game isn't that complicated to make, you'll have seas of time for bug fixes, grammer corrections, redesigns, and overall tweaks. That way you will end up with a timeless piece of pure gold that people are hopefully going to enjoy for generations.

I'm happy Midnight Suns and Hogwarts Legacy got delayed, I can focus on buying Modern Warfare 2, The Last Us Remake, Metal Hellsinger, Gotham Knights, A Plague's Tale Requiem and Callisto Protocol. The end of year is aways the worst time of the year to be a gamer, cause there is like 5 games you want that comes out around the same time.

I am totally over the whole Hogwarts/Harry Potter thing, given how nasty the creator is, kinda taints the whole deal for me, so I really DGAF about the game being delayed.
When it comes to Firaxis I am a big fan, and the Midnight Suns game looks awesome, but if it needs more time in the oven then it needs more time in the oven.

Its funny sony went to the BRAZILIAN courts, because they knew they would be laughed out of any other courtroom. Every time I hear about the nemesis system, it just reminds me that they actually went and patented the system so other games couldnt use it. So when I think or hear that other games should use it, it just gets me frustrated that a game company would create such an amazing system and than not allow it to be used.

I don t like to be the NEGATIVE GUY in the comments but why VALVE has the AUDACITY of taking pre orders in the new region when they do have reservations that been sitting for almost a YEAR! People been waiting for a year while NEW RESERVATIONS just need to wait for 3-4 months. NO EFFING COMMON SENSE.
