Suckers dont even see Starfield winding up to No Mans Sky, them, even tho it couldnt be any more predictable.
Spiderman 2 is going to underwhelm too. The Miles Morales DLC of the last Spiderman game was cringe trash. and now they are making that the whole game.
Alan Wake 2 is going to suck. I can smell it.
The rest are crap shoots. (Well except Nintendo -- they still make great games) Heres to getting at least a couple good games from the rest of the list.

When 15 out of theses 25 games i want to play day 1 you know how much of a blast this year will be. And we already had like 5-6 blasts the first half and 2 of them are already GOATY contendors for sure RE4 and zelda (which i havent played but ofc its up for goaty. The second half is so packed. Thank god for gamepass or i wouldnt be able to afford food this year. I am playing some nostalgia games right now after FF16 while waiting for remnant 2 and from that day i will only have new games to play till idk bcs there are so many. LOVE THIS YEAR. and next year seems great as well starting with a new prince of persia game

I think a really great feature Forza or Gran Turismo is to include actually building and installing the upgrades you purchase. Rather than buying and it's magically installed. I think it would make the players appreciate the effort and learn a little more of what goes into making the top tier racers. Obviously, it would be super boring if it took literal time span. But to include a mini game or in-game cut scene of it being built out would be great.

I'm eagerly waiting for the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora game b/c I think James Cameron is cool & I enjoyed the movies. I will say though I'm a little nervous about the game b/c it's attempting to bridge the gap between movies & video games or vice versa. Also, I'm cautiously optimistic about CyberPunk Phantom Liberty for obvious reasons & as an avid Assassins Creed gamer I'm very much interested in Mirage.

3: 32 as a huge horror fan, I hope this will be the game that wakes my interest in horror games. no excessive jumpscares but a story and events that make you feel that sensation of horror and dread
5: 25 ofc you need a gun. how else can it be a game? what? compelling story and lore? building, bonding and adventuring? are you kidding me. get out with that crap, we need guns, explosions and destruction!

Its early access is set to start this summer so I understand the hesitancy to include it on lists like this but a lot of people are sleeping on Wayfinder.
Airship Syndicate developing & Digital Extremes publishing an action MMO-lite has me all excited. I've never played Warframe but I love all of Joe Madureira's games (Darksiders, Ruined King, Battle Chasers) as I cannot get enough of his art style.

I got so frustrated with the AC series. It started out like a single story with multiple parts, but still nonetheless with a conclusion, but now it s just being milked for extra cash, and I simply can t get excited anymore. I wish UbiSoft would do some historical period games outside of AC because I really enjoyed Origins, but I genuinely don t even think about it as an AC game most of the time.

Not an og AC fan but comparing the 2 games I have the most experience with, black flag and Odyssey, I found the map overwhelming and the side quests repetitive in Odyssey, whereas black flag had a more linear focus where you discover the whole map from the main quest, without finding a thousand new side quests everywhere you go

I am quite surprised that Baldur's Gate 3 didn't make this list. BG3 has the potential to set a new bar for RPG's like Fallout: New Vegas did back in 2010. After putting about 200 hours into early access alone, I honestly believe BG3 will be in the running for top RPG of the decade, if not the top.

7: 03 Something that people are not touching on when discussing Super Mario RPG is that the game originally was developed by Square in collaboration with Nintendo. Also, the game itself was very good, and if all they did was update sound and visuals, we are all in for a fantastic game.

I genuinely thought S. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2 came out already. These delays are crazy, but they say themselves up for it every time by trying to please investors. Not thinking that a complete game being released in its best condition is a good business investment in & of itself.

Super hyped for Remnant 2 and Armored Core 6, day 1 buys for me. Starfield I'll wait. not super hyped and unless its a painless launch (its Bethesda, so not likely, i wont get it for some time. And still want to hop into CyberPunk, but I'm waiting until i can upgrade my PC.

I am looking forward to Armored Core 6, and Spiderman 2 the most, but there's also 2 Granblue Fantasy games coming out this year, Granblue Fantady Re: Link, and Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising.
Those are probably the most exciting for me personally rn.

A lot of games coming out that I'm interested in: Alan Wake 2, Lies of P, Sea Of Stars, Super Mario RPG, Assassins Creed Mirage, and of course, Starfield. Too many good games! It looks like the a good 2nd half of 2023. I'm looking forward to it.

Cities Skyline 2, the super mario rpg remake, Dragon Quest Monsters the dark prince, AC mirage, My time at sandrock!
All are on my list. Though they're gonna be overshadowed by the black void that will be my life when Starfield comes out.

This year is gonna go down as one of greatest years ever for gaming. I would personally put Stellar Blade on this list as one I m very excited for but unfortunately due to the lack of news it s looking like it will be delayed. Hopefully I m wrong
