Having finished FF16, the worst part of it is it's wwaaayyy too easy (even with no auto dodge, no auto attack talismans. And I'm no pro or anything, just some rando. And kinda unrealistic to expect players to finished the game once to get to the REAL game as intended (Final Fantasy mode aka Hard mode.

reminder all, pc gaming isnt as powerfull as you think, we ve been fooled by dlss, ai gen and stuff. the game isnt in bad port, but its our pc that isnt capable in playing it at 4k. 4k gaming is still hard to achieved even in these day, for reference when use 3090 on rdr2 we only get 55 fps and this game didnt have raytracing at all. even when you have beast vga it wont guarantee you to achieved 60fps in 4k gaming let alone if you have tight budget. for tight budget, just buy ps5 and problem solved. it even play better than high end pc, because you wont crank it above hardware capability. lets say it would be very good gaming experience, if you are ok with 4090 gaming locked at 40fps, 40fps is still 10fps higher than ps5 right? stable gaming that wont dip to far below. but no, your pride wont allow it, because gaming below 60fps isnt acceptable. and then unlock the limiter go above 60fps, trade off with the game that can dip below 40fps, feels the stutter, and then blame the dev for bad port lol

i waited for steam to slap a discount on legacy last week. its not bad.
im weirdly connected to the harry potter series. as someone who grew up in ireland, has dark hair, has a scarred forehead, has hazel eyes, has a terrible family, had glasses, and was 12 when the first book came out, i resonated quite strongly with it. its a good series despite its flaws. im saying all this to set up the fact that i should be the prime target of hogwarts legacy. its kind of just an average game.
it is kinda like star ocean integrity and faithlessness. not a bad game, but not special either. very average.

In terms of game play mechanics that I personally didn't like it would be the weapon durability mechanics in BOTW and TOTK. I think the situation is much better in TOTK than it was in BOTW, but if you guys ever do a controversial game mechanics video, BOTW weapon durability would top my list as some people profess to love it but some hate it.
Nevertheless, both games are great in most other respects.

Have to disagree with your HL opinion but I get it, it's not a Harry Potter game, it's a game based around Hogwarts, people expecting it to be HP clearly didn't pay attention to any of the information about the game, my hope is that the next game will be at another school, since it wouldn't really work for the open world mechanics in the same space as HL.

Gee if being online at all times is the biggest complaint about D4 then people aren t digging deep enough. D4 has an insurmountable amount of issues and even more to come as the seasons begin. I had a lot of hope for D4 and i put my time into it, but after completing everything including the horribly broken Uber, its just a massive letdown.

I never played any final fantasy before and I beat final fantasy 16 and went straight to final fantasy 7 remake and honestly I enjoyed ff16 so much more I woulda loved 7 if I coulda just played as cloud but having to play as a party idk I just wasn t the biggest fan I know that s what final fantasy is but idk I just liked 16 more

Jedi runs fine on PC now. let's talk about how poorly ff16 runs on the PS5. it's not PC performance that's the problem. it's games releasing in a much less than optimal state and then us gamers not getting a proper working product for months after. PC and console alike.

I'm a massive FF fan, but really loved FFXVI because I'm also a huge fan of DMC, NieR so mixing them is just more of a good thing. As someone who's been playing FF since FFIV I get the hate, if you're not into action games it may suck for you

I recently built a gaming PC so i really hope these PC Ports improve (in theory they should be the best version of a game but in practise developers don't give them the time they need and pardon me, executives don't give a crap)

i don't think the always online is about piracy it's just collecting user data and make you want to spent money. and i'll never buy any game that needs to be always online thats going to turn out like Babylon fall someday.

I find it funny how people don't like FF16 because it's not a real final fantasy game, yet we're praising Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom as great Zelda games. When they're nothing like older Zelda games

I will still love Jedi Survivor despite it's flaws and how awful the game was at launch, It's a shame that I recently broke my controller lmao, playing the game using keyboard is playable but god it's painful

They were always story driven adventure games, the grinding is just a lazy design to make the game easier if you suck at basic combat strategy

What were people expecting from final fantasy 16. The trailers showed it all. It s a more action based rpg. And it s good. Get over it losers. Enjoy what you get and not the same stuff over and over.

Who cares about ff16 not being a turn based rpg. Turn based games are boring and trash only because of the gameplay. Sorry when people are fighting they aren t gonna wait for you to attack.
