#1 has got to be Varris from the original elden ring. I've seen lots of people go through this same cycle I went through. Already upset that it's a soulslike game and strugged trough the tutorial NPC. You come up on Varris. And he's a dick to you straight out of the gate. Not realizing what the consequences would be, I killed him -- a person who sucks at soulslikes in the first place killing an NPC at first level -- you know this had to be intentional for Varris to be weak enough to beat at this point.
From there forward the game is technically playable but borked and youll eventually have to start over. If you're not a total fool, you take this as a lesson -- Fromsoft isn't fking around. They saw you coming miles away.
I'm convinced that this same encounter is what put such a huge prickly corncob up QuantumTVs butt. He's too much a narcissist to get the joke, take his lumps and then move on with life likd the rest of us did.

I remember, in assassin's creed origins, since I wanted some XP to lvl up, I kept killing guards and then died one time, and on the loading screen, a tip popped up, take quests instead of killing innocent guards, they have families too you know, I felt guilty and never did that again lol

I played Yakuza 0 and got the achievement without anyone catching me watching the erotic videos. I watch this video during lunch at work, and of course, someone saw me watching the video. They walked in just as this part of the video played. I have some explaining to do.

I was very annoyed by the VR RE4 port when I discovered my hands disappeared if they went anywhere near Ashley - mostly because of what it implied the devs _thought_ I was trying to do. I just wanted to lay a reassuring hand on her shoulder, for god's sake!

Number 5: It took FPS games a long time to grow out of it.
Or you could look to the last game you mention in the section, Marathon. It was contemporary with the original Doom, and featured several levels with puzzles to advance.

Lollipop Chainsaw has a 0 point achievement for successfully looking up Juliet's skirt, which is actually incredibly difficult to do since she will change her stance and c block you if you try to rotate the camera in that way.

In the Fallout 4 one, you can jump on the ship from a rooftop as it flies away. No need for cheats, and you can do it on console. Stop taking stuff from other people and passing it off as your own and and do your own research.

I'm the type of gamesr who fine-tooth-combs everything in a first playthrough so I don't miss anything. Definitely not as much as some might, because there's always something other gamers find that impresses and intrigues me.
