the way i see it half-life 3 should fuse itself with portal through Borealis and just imagine gravity and portal gun combined (combat would be crazy)
ofcourse dog going wild
maybe glados gets transfered and resurected in more human form (there are some wild fanarts waiting for that moment)
maybe dozens of crazy devices will enchance gordon
story idea
get to missing ship and fix it
fight unknown monstrosities and prototypes
teleport rest of resistance
defeat combine forces
after docking try to get to hidden and frozen secret research base (by using mentioned portal and gravity guns and operating cranes to set containers in useful way)
who knows what's next but i hope for full game (no episode bs) that will give satisfactory end to half-life

I would love a Half-Life 3. There is so much room for new stories. I feel the same about Fallout lore as well. Thing is, companies need to get out of safe games. When I pay over $50 for a game, I expect the company to have taken some risks added new mechanics and possibly some new motivations for the character. Half-Life can definitely still be a blank slate to build on. Who knows where the Train Man will take Gordon Are there more alternate worlds to explore and escape. Lots of thoughts on the possibility for a new game. Btw. I am now a Senior (sadly) and I remember playing Doom the first time. Before then I was mainly playing the old Sierra games, but Doom really opened up the possibility for something that felt like 3D. Thank you Jake.

When I saw the home from the trailer The Occultist, it reminded me of the Collinwood Mansion, from the 1960's gothic horror soap opera Dark Shadows. (quotes from Wikipedia) Which made me wonder if you have heard of this soap opera, that ran from June 1966 to April 1971, also grabbed from Wikipedia. I enjoyed what bits I could catch of it when younger. It featured a vampire as a main character and other supernatural phenomena. Just curious if you've ever checked the show out. As far as Half-Life 3, I'd love to see a continuation of this game. It'd be nice if they included Half-Life Alyx for Playstation's VR unit with its release. It would make my interest in VR rise if they did.

Wreckfest 2 has me curious. That's pretty much it. Hope they try to make their game have more of a classic story like pro racecar driver did. Codemasters makes pretty decent driving games. Flat tires, bent rims, various forms of frame warping. idk. I like demolition derby and crash based racers. But I don't want Wreckfest to try to become something else. Just maybe less tile menus and less free to play games as a service crap this time.

All these big companies buy the IP or the studio and then turn them to crap. Taketwo bought the Kerbal IP and ruined it, Sony. and EA whenever it buys anything, it ruins it. And now Meta ruins another studio. Why does it keep happening
Also, at Gamescom, I'm looking forward to more news about Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and some gameplay. I think it has game of the year vibes.

Meh, Hogwarts Legacy needs to be forgotten like the holocaust denying fascist, Joanne. It can't really be denied that a chunk of sales and hype were from just transphobic anti-boycotts wanting to make a big stink.

Please make Half-Life 3 be real. Also, please don't make it PC only. I never got to play half-life Alex and it really sucks because I'm a huge half-life fan. I have a freaking tattoo of the logo on my forearm. However if the only way it can get made is PC only, I'll take it being out and not be able to play it just so Fans get to play it and it can be a real thing!

I miss Half-Life SO much! Classic! I hope that we can get it one day. I would like to either finish the story that we got left with, of course. I want to know what the hell happened! Also, I would also be down for an awesome Next Gen sequel that is completely original. Maybe sprinkle in the backstory of what happened still That ending was EPIC! I need to know!

I too loved the game, the Order 1886 and I was so hoping for a sequel. Sony really dropped the ball with this studio. Sad to hear that the Studio shut down. Such a waste of talent. Sony, what are you doing You buy crap studios like Bungie & Firewalk, but you shun the Studio, Ready at Dawn. You're pissing me off Sony.

At this point, I don't think Half-Life 3 could live up to all the hype everyone generated, and not Valve. If anything, it is wise to avoid it. Always wanted to co-op Doom 1 and 2 with someone, but man, command prompt and DOS is horrible to go back to once you've gotten used to modern-day OSs.

Valve will release stuff when their engine has something to show. Hoping for realistic damage and movement impairment and so on for characters. Would be cool if they where hit this or that way and that actually had consequences for how they move and act. That tech way overdue.

Closing Ready At Dawn and not making anymore Lone Echo games is a big mistake. Literally the only reason Ive stayed with Oculus/Quest headsets. Asgard's Wrath 2 was good but Lone Echo was more up my alley and more fun and the better graphics were worth being wired to a PC.

After playing 2, episodes 1 and 2, and following the story for a bit now, honestly, I just would like a nice clear resolution to the story, no more sequel baits, no more open ends. Just a good ending for Half life would be enough I think.

Valve needs to leave Half Life alone & let the franchise continue to stand the test of time as it still does these past 2 decades. The current landscape of this industry-turned-corporation is too detrimental for these old, vintage titles.
