I know a am not Griffin or Russ but i am still going to give you my two cents.
I like it the video is crisp, it sounds great the only thing I didn't like was the end were you showing them getting engaged and you paned the camera over to the people I think you should have stayed on them and then got a shot of the people clapping. But other then that I like it.

There was a Gopro Hero3+ set up on a tripod at the end of a road race I ran yesterday. I have to say the camera is significantly smaller. It is such a big difference from the boxiness that I am used to seeing in the Heroes 2 and 3. I am exited about 120fps full HD, but am not convinced that it is a big enough step up from the Hero 3.

I can't say from experience, but I do know that sony had a bad rap among indy filmmakers for its DSLRs. Canons, on the other hand, seem to be well liked and have many filmmaking firmware hacks. Like I said, I'm not an expert, but I'd think you'd be happier with the T3i.

Nice video as always! Hey Russell and Griffin, I shot a different Wedding proposal in the park, with string quartet, with a GH2, please Watch and tell me what you think!

You are correct! And you actually win a price, unlike the people who say first! or. second. or under 10, who not only get nothing out of it, but become the running joke of all the rest of the commenters! :)

Hey, are sony dslrs any good for filmmakers, Iam on a really limited budget and Iam not a t USA so the prizes change, I can only afford the sony alpha a37 or canon t3, which one is better? I am just starting

Thanks, but the thing is that is not the T3i is the T3, if feels really cheap and from reviews I've heard that is not a really good overall camera, wanted to hear your opinion.

Love prop Dept. I have been on the WB lot a couple of time but never in props, I have been in the Universal prop house that is huge. and has a creep factor of the scale as well

anyone else notice that the resolution on the quadcopter footage was absolutely horrible? I mean if youre going to do something illegal like that, at least make it worth it.

It's probably just nostalgia talking, but I really miss the old mogulween intro. Seeing the old one just makes me happy and really makes me feel like it's Halloween! :)

Last week someone was flying a DJI Phantom over Big Tex at the texas state fair, for the opening with 8, 000 people. would have been tragic if it had crashed.

Gotta say, I love seeing the two of you in one video together more often. It freshens up things. And both of you seem in such a great mood.

Griffin if you ever open up a midwest film studio. Please let me know so I can at least put in an application for janitor.
reply

Hey Griffin you said that you use the Zoom H4 for audio recording. How do you sync your audio and video tracks together?
reply

I think it'd work better if the opening said Happy October and on October 31st it'd change to Happy Halloween. :)
reply

I think it probably shot at 1080p or 720p, but the footage the news released they kept at 360p unfortunately.

These are great episodes, combine these types of episodes with some new DIY videos and I'll be thrilled. :)
