This game is not difficult in the slightest except during last stages. Unlike Touhou's pre-determined pattern dodging, this hearkens back to older shmups like Darius series and Thunderforce series. The controls are responsive, switching weapons are painless, and the third weapon, homing lasers, are good against enemies in the background.
Overall it's one of my top recommended indie shmups; the English release is way overdue, but just in time with its Remaster release. Good old Freshman days.

For the record I really enjoy these LGR plays. They give me a nice taste of games that I may or may not be interested in, but are fun to see anyway. If I wanted LPs, I'd be youtubing those.
These are almost like demos to me, and since my system sucks and I have no money, it's nice to be able to watch these little bits so I can maybe write down a few games that go in the -definitely giving these a shot when I can- category.
Anyway, just wanted to say, 'cause I love your content.

Partners do get paid but that doesn't automatically make it a job. It's a partnership. There is no employment contract whatsoever. Also, the only way I get paid is if people load and/or click the ads, and I would have to have hundreds of thousands of views daily to make any kind of decent money at it. that's not exactly happening here.
I do this because I want to, otherwise I'd have quit long ago. I have zero responsibility to anyone, but I still try my best to release quality free videos.

I still do, it's just a lot simpler and concise now. Honestly I hate longer intros on web shows. They rarely add to the video at all. I always skip them and I'm too lazy to do something to make them unique every time. I also had a lot of complaints about my intro and had the viewership stats to back that up, and since I didn't like it anyway I just got rid of lengthy intros. Now people are saying they liked them, go figure. Can't make everyone happy so I just do what works best for me.

The controls being labeled as 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 is truly a confusing set-up for a PC version. Yeah it was made with the intent of being played with a gamepad, but this is still horrible design. Can't speak about the gameplay though but I do spot that alot of the graphics either blend with the background or is obscured by something else, another sign of bad design in term of shoot-em-ups. Oh well, will have to try it out someday.

Those patterns seemed pretty easy and it's just funny to see you try to dodge one bullet just to run into another! x3
Great video though! Some advice, it'll help if you look at the space in between the bullets if you aren't already. Also when the bullets are homing, just move slightly out of their way; they fly right past you.

If you don't like them, don't watch. Simple. Nobody is forcing you. I put out for free content for insatiable people, and it's not my job, it's a hobby. I simply do what I am able, sorry if it's not up to your standards. I am not able to put even more of my life into this right now.
Oh and -lazy- is in the show title for a reason.

One of the worst reviews I've ever seen. At least you're honest that you're garbage at these games. Still, figure out your keymap scheme at least, you blew a minute or two whining about that. -I don't know what I'm doing. I'm just pushing buttons. Oh, this is the story about something or something. - Insightful stuff.

Because most Japanese fonts use the SimSun-style latin character set and the person who did the English localization didn't want to (or didn't know how to) change the font from the original. Has nothing to do with licensing costs - there are more than enough royalty-free freeware fonts around the internet.

Just got this on Steam. It was worth $8 to play a decent shmup again. Haven't played one in forever. PC support is definitely lacking though. Can't play 1920x1080, controls are confusing (I was stuck on the select language screen for far too long lol, but hey. once you get going it's not too bad.
