Not sure what's so funny. Undersea crustacean lazer battles are a serious issue and it's about time a game was made to bring this problem to light. Most barnacles is the wild can rarely charge their attack to a level 2 or higher, leaving them prone to defeat. It's a sad situation and it's time the government got involved.
That's about all I have to say about this topic. Excuse me while I continue training my crustaceans. Today's lesson is using less important sea creatures as shields.

There are a load of games based around an insect called -Kabuto Mushi-. They are kind of warrior beetles. These games can be found in game centers (arcades) here in Japan and on home consoles. Kids will collect cards and have their beetle fight someone else by scanning their card and the other kid's card into the arcade. The beetles shoot lasers, fire missiles do combo's and even have finishing moves. The fights are recorded on the cards (wins / loses. You can buy cards in supermarkets etc.

It really depends on how much gaming you intend to use it for. I know I'm not Clint, but I also assembled my gaming pc and know a fair amount. If you're like me, and play a lot of games, and PC is your MAIN gaming platform; desktop all the way. I wouldn't even mess around with a beastly laptop.

Seriously. The goal is to win, that's about it. If you look at the -story- behind this, you'll see it's just there as absurd filler. Does one really need a reason to pit crabs and barnacles against each other, armed with lasers? :D

Am I the only one who doesn't find it funny, really? I mean, I think it's awesome that phreakindee (and anyone else) does, but I don't really get what's so hilarious about it. :-p
I haven't watched the gameplay yet though, only the description. Maybe more will be revealed.

Out of curiosity, I'm going to ask a completely unrelated question. Have you heard of Petit Computer? It's for the DSi/3DS. Lets you write games and apps in BASIC right on the DSi/3DS. I would think it would be right up your alley!
