Hey Phreakindee, I don't know if you've heard, but something major happened in the dark engine scene. System Shock 2 and Thief 1 and 2 both got a major patch that modifies things on a source code level (meaning it was from someone with source code access. This makes the games run flawlessly on modern systems. I think it's something you might want to cover while the news is fresh.

nah, i wouldn't call that game genre a fps/rpg but more like a FPS hack&slash: it's just like the diablo series, regarding its gameplay i mean, except that you're on the first person view.
But yeah, great game, although i played it for almost half a year and i gotta say that i got bored of it a lil.

If you make your own, you could make a PC that near maxes out with 45-60 fps for $600, at least thats what mine cost me almost 2 years ago. and of course if you have parts that can be reused you will save yourself some money (things like the case, Disk drives, fans, the like)

Saying that diablo is an RPG is an incredible understatement. it IS FAR MORE than just a RPG. It is an action role-playing HACK AND SLASH video game, for short, an HACK & SLASH and that's where BORDERLANDS 2 is like diablo, an HACK & SLASH game.

What a fantastic addition those are! Found out later in the game that the barrels can be remote detonated at any time with the right mouse button, making them kinda like huge pipe bombs. Great for taking down Buzzards!

I found the game to look much much MUCH better if you switch the setting -Black Outlines- off. it will look less like Jet Set Radio, and more like an actual new game; )

I finished the game with the gunzerker yesterday. The amount of quests and many of them being brutally long multi parters almost broke the experience for me. Too much busy work.

I wold get this but the black outline around everything kinda puts me off, not a big fan of games with cartoony graphics: / Excellent video as always though! Good job Clint!

0: 54 sounds like the peasant spawning sound from Age of Empires, though it sounds like it's only similar; probably the fact that it happens when spawning made me think of that: P

Kinda funny, since I was talking with my players about Face McShooty, and somebody brought up his spiel at the table. Ended up being a running joke. Man, I love Borderlands.
