Hey man, great review as usual! Hope the new series kicks off to a good start. You always have a good format: ) I noticed in the background you have In Pursuit of Greed! Which was one of my childhood games. Came across it from when I went over to my neighbors who had a shareware CD of many games including Castle of the Winds (if you remember that RPG. The game feels cheap and definitely shows the year of release, but I really enjoyed it! Very weird kind of approach to a 'doom clone'.
Any chance of covering it a at some stage?
Cheers and good to talk!

I like the Quickie format. I think the impromptu nature of the review definitely gives you a chance to focus on your memories of the game, rather than the technical specs and the history behind the title. It made me think of all the shareware games I used to play back in the early 90s. It's neat hearing how you came across some of these obscure titles during your childhood. It's relateable because everyone has a story or favorite memory about games that have since been forgotten, or perhaps stood the test of time. Keep up the good work!

I enjoy the idea of these short, unscripted reviews. One thing I especially liked, though, was hearing about your personal history with the game, you know, with the label and the Caribbean and whatnot. Maybe with your Quickies, you can do a bit of a review, more or less, but also focus more on your personal history with the game, i. e. where you were in your gaming experiences, what other things you'd played at that time, and stuff like that. Just my personal thoughts. Whatever you do, I'll probably enjoy anyhoo.

My suggestion? Do the smaller games you don't have allot to say about in the -quicky- format. This one was fine. I like to listen to all your thoughts, but for a small game there is not allot to say about, go for this! Maybe 10 minutes as a goal? Just don't do the 1 minutes reviews. I hate those. Keep the good games longer though, its your thoughts and experiences that are enjoyable to listen to.

I know the type of dominoes he was talking about. It pretty much is a hispanic/carribean thing, and I play with my family when i get the chance to. It really is a fun and addicting game where everyone is just in complete silence. It's pretty cool honestly.
And yeah, there is always that one that slams the dominoes down. He's usually the oldest and the one that wins allot lol.

I like these small showcases of games. I grew up mostly with Win95 and XP, and even though I play retro system games, I don't come across many older PC games. I love your videos because I learn about a retro gaming space I normally don't get much exposure too, and the more smaller oddball games I get to see the better.
More content is always welcome. :P

Nice to see Quickies return. I love these strange little one-man DOS games that don't bear a full review, but deserve being made known in some capacity. That's why I loved stuff like the Game Empire discs, chock full of things like Dem Bonz, SuperFly, F. Godmom. the indie scene was fascinating back then. Still is, but in different ways.

St. Lucia. What a cool place. I spent 10 or so days there. My best friends brother went to U. S. med school there. So we stayed with him for a few days then went to a resort in Castries. We also went to a kick ass restaurant called Capone-s! Our bill was brought to us in a - violin case- or tommy gun case. It was an amazing 10 days.

I don't remember the old quickies that much, but I like this new format.
Mostly because it feels so different and relaxed, where you and the viewers sit and chat about games in a casual manner. And like you said, this will allow you to talk about games you otherwise couldn't, and that's a good thing.
I approve, more please.
