To answer the inevitable comments asking the same thing: -no, it doesn't work with Windows 10. -
As described in the video, the drivers are only for DOS, Windows 3, and OS/2. On a modern system it'd just work the same as any other monitor, no touch enabled. Unless someone more skilled than me develops software for it of course, and I'd be happy to test that out if it happens: )

I believe we had one of these on my work in the early/mid 90-s. Saw an old promo video from my work last week where my college (still works there) uses a touch screen on a at the time state of the art Cnc machine. When he showed me the video I didn-t believe it, but in the 90-s our workplace were the most high tech metal factory in the country.

It always fascinates me that the -cutting-edge- technology we have today has actually been around for decades. Like that z-axis action? That-s literally an early version of 3D touch! I just think that-s amazing, you know? That this technology has existed for years -- sometimes even decades -- before it became mainstream.

I used an Army Recruiting Command LaserDisc-TouchScreen combo in the late 80s to -assist- in finding me a Military Occupational Skill(MOS. It had a giant TouchScreen CRT monitor. That combo couldn't have been cheap. For the time, it was very cool. For the life of me, I cannot find it in a search.

This brought back memories of the old Warner Brothers mall stores. In the back of the store I remember there was something to crawl inside of, I want to say it was a rocket ship, and inside there were touch screens where you could tap to color in different Looney Tunes images.

I remember going to a technology museum here in Brazil and it was around 2001/2002 and I pretty much remember seeing 4 computers with those touchscreen CRTs. There was a sort of Paint kind of software we kids could draw on. Kids almost fought to use those screens at the time -

I know they call them Resistive screens. But after several years troubleshooting the things, and after seeing someone king hit one, I've determined they are Percussive touch screens. As in hit them harder the more they act up.
Thank got for conductive multi touch screens.

I remember Return to Zork (3: 44) was my first computer game (monkey island was out of stock. Point and click adventures are still something that got me reading for the first time beyond necessity and I still really enjoy them even though I have a modern system.

My Uncle worked for IBM on this TouchScreen CRT system, and later for Synaptics to develop the TouchPad we all use on LapTops, which became the touchscreens we use now. Capacitive/Resistive input was fun to chat about with him
