Add Infinity War to the list. I was unable to see the fim in a theater. I ordered the blu-ray and the anticipation was intense. As soon as it arrived I popped the blu-ray into my PS4. At the end I hadn't enjoyed it because so much of the movie had been revealed. I had already read the comic and knew what was to come. But imaging what you'll see is fun whereas seeing what was show is not. What I did like was watching the incredible female performances. That's what I thought about the Black Panther movie as well. I normally watch a movie several times in a short period of time. I've yet to watch Infinity War again.

NO, the actual question is who or what kind of idiot gave permission to approve these trailers of spoils? If not the producer of the film, then maybe point the finger on them. If there's none but some film buff they allow to cut these trailers. oh i dunno, beat the crap of them? Seriously though. it's absurd they let one idiot to approve the trailer, surely the actor, director or even one single staff would clearly see and realize Trailers who give the whole storyline needs to be addressed. For instance, you're not going to tell me that no one noticed.

Cast Away director Robert Zemeckis said this about the trailer, We know from studying the marketing of movies, people really want to know exactly every thing that they are going to see before they go see the movie. It's just one of those things. To me, being a movie lover and film student and a film scholar and a director, I don't. What I relate it to is McDonald's. The reason McDonald's is a tremendous success is that you don't have any surprises. You know exactly what it is going to taste like. Everybody knows the menu.

You really have to wonder about marketing execs. I suspect they get degrees in marketing and know nothing about the specific industries they're in, or even the specific projects. Just as in advertising, you see some crap and wonder what it is they're trying to sell, I think these execs just go to some award - winning Agency, vaguely sketch what they want, blithely pay them millions, then piss off to Hawaii or somewhere for another holiday on their inflated salaries.

Last House was a remake where anyone who bought a ticket was likely a genre fan that was aware of the ending. Stop trashing films and filmmakers who accomplished more with these films than anyone at your site ever will.

In defence of Superman vs Batman, if you have been a fan of them for a long time, you know every Superman vs Batman fight is due to a misunderstanding, manipulation, or alternate universe with the main bad guy being the one the two team up to fight at the end. It is tradition at this point and while I don't unwelcome any new changes to the formula, I'm not going to bash the movie for sticking to tradition.

4: 45 While I agree, it probably would have been a more impactful surprize to see the reveal of Harry for the first time in the movie, rather than in the trailer (it was still a shocking moment, I can say the marketing totally worked. I absolutely wanted to see Kingsman 2, if only just to find out how in the world they were going to bring Hairy back from a gunshot to the head!

What the heck, Looper! You put a list like this in and you dont put Terminator Genysis in the list? The second trailer for that film was such a obvious choice for you to put in here! You had one job, Looper! ONE! And you completely blew it. Heck, the trailer for Terminator Salvation would been an equally good choice for a list like this! Man, talk about disappointing.

2. Castaway isn't about the plot, it's about the journey.
3. Shutter Island's trailer was actually purposefully misleading.
4. Sum of all fears, I don't think averting WWIII is a letdown.
5. BVS didn't save anything for the movie. I can't argue with that one.
