Assignment Earth and The Farm would have been a potential cult classic that sadly did not came to Fruition. Looper you guys forgot the spin-off of Supernatural that did not air but characters of that said spin off appeared in an episode of Supernatural that was meant to be a backdoor pilot.

As far as the superhero tv shows, they have done a great job with The Arrow, Flash and Legends of tomorrow. The rest of the current hero shows I'm not impressed with. Constantine was good but they cancelled it, glad that they are bringing him back into the DC tv line up.

I acctually found the script for the first episode of Assignment Earth on line a few years ago (it ignored the star trek episode and retold the story with some diffrences, diffrences that made the whole thing a US ripp off of Doctor Who)

Even thou Xena was a spin off of Hercules, there was suppose to be a spin off of Xena based on Gabrielle's life and adventures after Xena's death. No network was interested. So wish Netflix and Hulu were a round back then.

Ironically, the Aquaman character had one of the lines from SmallVille that I remember best. Fish jokes. that's all I get are fish jokes. It was a very character-driven line that was also very heartfelt.

I always thought that the Assignment: Earth episode would have been great as its own show. It's cool to think that it was considered as a spin-off!

you could do a whole list out of the failed back door spin-offs of 'Supernatural'. it seems like every season has a failed attempt at a spin-off.

Gary 7 a time hopping alien? Hmmm sounds vaguely familiar. Like a show the BBC had premiered 5 years before that about a time hopping alien.
