I'm very hesitant at this point, primarily because they still haven't shown what Venom will look like. Maybe it's a marketing strategy where they don't want to reveal everything in the trailer like most do these days, however I've extremely worried that they're going with Agent Venom instead of the towering muscular long-tongued symbiote that we're all actually hoping for.

Wow so he has played the role of one of my favourite villains of all time (Bane) and now he is going to do it with another favourite of mine. This guy is awesome, Especially how he portrays a DC character and now he's going to portray a Marvel character. This video just made me 2x more excited for the movie. Thanks Looper.

Can anyone tell me how can venom be venom without Spider-Man? If I remember correctly the symbiote used a human as a host jjs son. and only became venom after bonding with Spider-Man hence the black suit. So would have to have crossed paths somewhere right?

How could this movie be good? It doesn't follow the origin from the comic books and looks to be completely separated from the rest of the marvel universe. This is just a desperate money making attempt from a company that hasn't been doing so well.

I have wanted to be disappointed in every film Tom Hardy has ever been in. but the Gods honest truth is he makes what ever film he is in brilliant! . Every time I convince myself it is bad casting does he come along and seriously impress me!

This opening venom picture is the perfect venom. The venom in the trailer is better than the last one but still not 100% right. The eyes are wrong. Too spidey looking. Smooth shape, too little. They are suppossed to be large and jagged.

Tom Hardy should nail this going from a DC character like Bane which, he nailed, now to Marvel as a villain anti hero of sorts as Eddie Brock? Possibilities are endless with his character not to mention, a sequel to mad Max is coming out.
