Why? Brock/Venom character is hilarious and entertaining. Other characters are forgettable and useless.
Tom Hardy stole the movie. It is like a one-man performance.
Pacing and tone of the film is confusing. The direction, mood, and aesthetics/CGI of the film reminds me of a 2000's superhero film, or X-Men Last stand, Daredevil.
Story is bland.
The action scenes are fun and enjoyable.

Alright this video got the post cred scene information almost spot on. The scenes are not back to back the Spiderverse scene is at the very end and Cassidy (as Eddie Brock is walking in) is currently writing in blood against one of the metal panels of his cage (I think, pretty sure he was in a straight jacket though) and before the scene cuts he says. there will be Carnage. Dun dun dun!

The first end credit scene with Cassidy is wrong. Both eddie brock and him have a little dialogue before he says and i quote I will break out of here and when i do there'll be carnage
Seen the film a few hours ago and wow its amazing! really really good! although RT wont let me leave a review, i predict the film to be fresh on there after the 5th oct

They rated this movie PG-13, but venoms actions are DARKER for a character like him. Not only that, but Tom Hardy said his favorite scenes in the movie arent even in the final cut! Sony, you had ONE chance to redeem yourselves to told a marvel title, and you screwed up AGAIN. C

I like to think that this is set in Andrew Garfield's (Marc Webb's Spider-Man) universe. It'll also feel appropriate since Tom Hardy and Andrew Garfield look of similar age.
This won't happen but I hope they bring Garfield back for this new universe.

The second is after most the credits
It may be different in the US, but also, some of the details are off. Which ones? Well, I gotta leave some surprises for everyone

well, going by the critics, the credits at the end will come as welcome relief! The post credits scenes may be salt in the wound. Even Tom Hardy has said they cut the best bits of the movie by 30 - 40 minutes to not get an R rating. Boring!

This movie was actually good. Just saw it today. Don't believe the bad reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. Granted, it's not Marvel Movie good but it does a good job telling a Venom story. I do wish it was Rated R though. Still a good movie.
