The Real Reason Deadpool 2 Eliminated Most Of The X-Force 21: Hear me out. Deadpool 2 was awesome and all but that scene that you are talking about was done in 2010 in the MagGruber film. MacGruber had set up a powerful bad ass team of Kane, Chris Jericho, the Big Show, Mark Henry and the Great Khali from the WWE; they all get hyped up but his entire team dies in a C4 explosion in their team van on their way to a battle. leaving just MacGruber and Ryan Phillip's characters to ride out the majority of the movie together. Just saying. .still enjoyed seeing the DeadPool version of that joke though! I would only enjoy an X Force team that had WarPath and Black Suit Red Eyes Wolverine on it with X-23, Cable and DeadPool and of course Domino who are actually members of that team in the comics. Clayton Crain's rendition of that team had the best art and stories that dug deeper into Cable and Apocalypse connection.

This is not the correct reason, despite the directors claims. The correct reason is that 20th Century Fox needs to maintain their copyright control of these characters, given that if they don't feature them in films they could lose their claim to the characters movie rights. These characters are very valuable intellectual property to 20th century Fox. This is the most efficient way to use these characters in a movie - killing them off immediately (perhaps something only possible in a Deadpool movie given its comedic style.

The name Shatterstar is a dead giveaway, shatterstar is one of the most laughed-at superhero, there is no way he lives thru the movie. Ryan Reynolds is a true fan so he can capture the essence of deadpool that well, but that also means the character need to be constantly talking, occupying most of the screen time, that does not leave much room for other characters, now you got Deadpool Domino Cable Warhead and Colossus as a team, they can put more mouths in.

I still think it's a waste of opportunity. The scene is surely hilarious, but some of the X-Force member can be an extremely interesting addition for the series, especially Peter. They shouldn't kill them all. (Well, Peter may still alive with one arm, but I don't think he will come back in the future)

I thought it was brilliant! those characters were generic and terrible. I never liked X-Force. I think the remodel of Domino was amazing; Zazie Beetz is hot as hell, charismatic and was a bad ass in the movie. I never cared about the Domino character before but now I look forward to seeing her more

Im against the trend of having scenes in the Trailer not in the Movie, but I feel its justified for Deadpool & co.
I wish more Movies put in that kind of effort. like maybe, for example, deliberately shooting Scenes in public so people can get images that are all a massive red herring.

In the comics, there was a random X-Force team made up of really weird characters who all died within minutes of their first mission. It was the story run that brought us Doop and the horrors associated with the little snot.
So, this wasn't as random as you might think.

I had thought that the fake scenes in the trailers were a nod to Marvel's constant red herring trailers, e. g. the Hulk in Wakanda in Infinity War. But was thoroughly disappointed that Deadpool did not call it out during the scene. He's supposed to be the Meta Guy!

Don't make much sense to me, I think Deadpool directors and producers are outsmarting themselves, this franchise is becoming a little bit too comical
Why introduce x-force just to kill them off
I liked the first movie, but they're gettin to clownish too me

This video never really answered The Real Reason Deadpool 2 Eliminated Most Of The X-Force The video explains how they did it and the work the production crew did to keep it secret but this video sort of misses the whole point it describes in the title.
