The Finder, a spin-off of Bones that lasted a few episodes, starred Geoff Stults, a former star of the late WB/CW Series 7th Heaven. He shouldve made another special guest appearance on the shows series finale because The Finder ended with the character of Walter Sherman arrested by the FBI for opposing them when he found his long lost mother who abandoned him, his brother & their father when he was a kid due to being in the witness protection program. He had to find her because it was his dads dying wish and he needed closure. Doing that ended the wall between them and the Feds arrested Walter just after his dad passed away and they didnt care that if he was still breathing when his son got arrested, the shock of that event wouldve killed him. It wasnt revealed if Walters legal advisor did or didnt contact the Governor of Florida to pardon Walter for doing such an unselfish act which was no excuse to the Feds.

I actually loved this show up until they made her get pregnant, what I got from that is all an intelligent woman who has no desire for children needs is an overly religious guy whos going to change her mind on everything she believed in to his views. I loved the crime solving and the great writing in the first 1 through the end of season 6 anything after that was a softy soap opera and although to me it was kind of watchable it could have definitely done without all the relationships and pregnancies, the only one that I wouldve understood was Angelas and Hodgins baby.

It was kinda boring after Bones got pregnant. I was hoping for like a big shock scene from everyone after Bones and Booth slept together since everyone was rooting for them from the beginning (SS1. They shouldve waited until Emily had her child and resume the storyline after B&B spent the night together. I waited 6-7 seasons just to see a very pregnant Bones already living with Booth (the audience had to imagine what happened in the last 5 months they were together.
but hey. anyone missed Wong Foo in SS1?

The untold truth: how much does it cost to investigate a single murder that draws on so many - and very expensive - resources, when simple rape kits go unanalyzed by the thousands for lack of funds.
The only time they ever expressed concerns about cost was in an episode when they needed gold as a catalyst. Since gold usually goes a long way in its application, and an ounce being about 1100, I thought that was actually one of their more cost=efficient investigations.

I admit my first impression of Bones was entirely negative then for a while it seemed okay but my first impression is the right one. Bones is little more than a hyper romanticized expression of lust in the work place. Then try to justify it with marriage and or pregnancies etc. If they stuck to the crime I would have enjoyed it more but this seems to be the sort of program Weinstein would watch and say see no one acts like a professional in this business.

They should have done an episode where Angela gets Herpes simplex 2 or some sort of STB AIDS would be too harsh but a possibility. I enjoyed the show the development of the characters to a point, but it seems like if you are not having an affair with a co worker you are not having an affair with anyone. Its a bit weird that way and more suggestive of how the Hollywood casting couch works its way down and into even good story lines.

It's just mind blowing how sociopaths like Bones have become so popular, it's just indredbile who ever thinks science can solve erverything whil it can't, and all of these criminals that Bones catch are average level at best, she never met anyone truly smart. (Yes that includes Pelant, not to mention he fanatism iin concventiuonal science that has miisinterpreted just about everything and that includes antropology.

Have you read any of the original books? I have and the characters of Tempy are almost complete opposites. Their back stories are totally different to the extent that she's married to a cop and both her parents are still alive. Also she's not as strong a character in the books - almost a wimp by comparison. Still brilliant, but with definite character faults not shared with the TV Brennan.

I liked the show, except for Emily Deschanel. She just isn't as good an actor as the rest of the cast and her character was completely unbelievable (in part due to the fact that the character sucked in addition to her acting. Tj Thyne's character, Hodgins, was probably the most believable. The show's attempts at political and social commentary were also very much unappreciated and unnecessary.
