Get out was a good fun movie but it was not a master piece, nor did it deserve an Oscar nomination, Horror master pieces are The Exoricist, Silence of the Lambs, The Witch and the instant classic that is Hereditary. Get Out was fun and very enjoyable and impressive for a director's first movie, but that's about it.

The xtra scenes in aliens made the film. It made it even more tragic of what happened to them. Also I remember seeing all the scenes being in the other films mentioned here. Except the Star Wars one. And I didnt see get out. Or clerks.

the Iron Giant.
There was a dream sequence in which the giants very existence is revealed to be the domination of all alien worlds; this was deleted, due to the fact that it took away a lot of the sympathy for giant.

I never realized those scenes in Aliens weren't in the theatrical cut. I always watched the special edition dvds. I personally think those scenes added a lot of character and feeling to the movie.

A light-hearted tone? In Back to the Future? We literally see Doc Brown get gunned down by Libyan terrorists in the first movie. Not to mention the incest undertones with Marty and his mother xD

Every single deleted scene from Aliens is awesome and really suitable for the plot. I'm glad they didn't include those Terminator 2 and Clerks scenes though. Never cared that much about Get Out

Get Out is one of the few instances where the happy ending (giving the circunstances) was the perfect choice and actually fitted better contrasting with the bleak nature of the story.
