As far as i understand, the iron islands do not belong to the kingdom. So house greyjoy actually kept independent. The six kingdoms are kings landing, the vale, riverrun, casterly rock, high gargden and dorne, right? Or maybe there is no riverrun, bacause arya killed them all, so storms end would be the sixth kongdom? Idk, but seems that the iron islands is not part of westeros.

The most confusing moment was even after Varys send all of those ravens to the lords of the 7(6) kingdoms in which he has written the true heritage of Jon Snow, shown in the beginning of the fifth episode, at the Summit, no one even says Yo my dudes, what's with this Aegon Targaryen? He a King or What? . Poor Varys died for LITERALLY NOTHING.
