New Harley Quinn Trailer Is Here And It's Definitely R-Rated

Just because its rated r doesnt automatically make it interesting. And in DCs case, it mostly means overwhelmingly try-hard to seem edgy and cool with a bunch of out-of-place/awkward sounding, random-ass swears thrown in every few minutes cartoonishly ridiculous blood splats everywhere, and enough fap material to last at least a seasons worth of lonely nights.
Seriously, the batman animated series and batman beyond iteration were way darker, edgier, and more engaging, and they didnt need to try to appeal to a more mature audience cuz the writing was so good, there were layers upon layers that had something for all ages. How bout making more shows like them?

Sorry to say, but this kinda looks and sounds. dumb. I love the actors chosen, but, they're not right for the gig. Like, it has a very sitcomy feel to it and that's not Batman, never has been (minus the original Adam West series)

My understanding is this show will be WOKE, however. Harley is the kind of character where that kind of logic actually works! I will have to keep an eye on this show, the formula might just strike gold here.

My only complaint is I hate her voice. She doesn't sound like Harley Quinn at all and it's just constantly making me think of Penny from Big Bang Theory. Plus she doesn't have Harley's fake Brooklyn accent.

This looks like it was made for people who laugh at hold my beer jokes in comment sections. Also, Harley Quinn is a side character. A show centered around her doesn't work.
