Rose actually had a slightly better position in Skywalker because she actually felt like realistic part of the group. People often forget that characters like Greedo, Admiral Akbar, shoot even Boba Fett are household names; but also have very little screen time in the films. Theyre famous for like one or two things in the movies and they still went down in history. Weve The Mandalorian has do way more on screen then Boba ever has. Sometimes doing less and not pushing it works out better.

Rose and Finn were useless characters and a waste of screen time. They couldve easily been written out completely and had their puny storylines absorbed by other characters. If they wanted more diversity why couldnt they just give Lando a much bigger part in the trilogy? Hes already an established and well-known character in the franchise, and loved by fans. I personally wouldve really liked to see more of him.

Honestly the Roses character was ok ish. let me just say. I feel super bad for the actress. She is getting a lot of people hating on her. Just imagine having having tons and tons of people just lash out at you. for what? Having directors and writers that didnt put much thought into your character.

I find so called Star Wars fans not really fans because they dont understand character development, I got to admit the rise of skywalker was not great its like they listened to the so called fans and it ruined it, Im pretty sure no one like lando or empire strikes back when that released

If Peter Cushing could be re-animated to play Tarkin again in Rogue One, then why didn't they do the same for Carrie Fisher for Leia's scenes with Rose? I'm not saying that they should have done this, but the differences in how this franchise handles dead actors is pretty odd IMHO.

Someone really took time to nitpick this? They had small roles/screen time because they weren't major characters that the story directly revolved around like Rey and Finn! They're just there to fill space and for plot advancement! The end, that simple.

They literally did just leave Rose out of most of the movie. Fin's all like C'mon all main characters are going to be in the first act together! and Rose is like Nah, I got to do homework. See you in act three! XD

Im still not sure how Luke went into exile without Artoo. I thought the reason Xwings had astro-mechs was to pilot them through hyperspace. Maybe a force user doesn't need it?
