Easter Eggs You Missed In Star Trek: Picard Episode 3 Anthony: Episode 3 Conclusion: Soji was created by the Borg to infiltrate the cube to find out how the assimilated Romulans brought down the submatrix, because this is an existential threat to the Borg.
Evidence that Soji is Borg:
(1) she goes into a regeneration cycle when contacting her mother (presumably the communicator connects her to the hive);
(2) Sojis badge briefly lights up after she touches Ramdhas hand (which I think indicates the activation of Borg technology. I think she was accessing Borg info on Ramdhas history, but she didnt activate fully.
(3) Maddox could not stabilise the quantum matrix in his robots, yet Dahj & Soji are flesh & blood with working android brains? This is 2nd generation and Maddox could only have created them with Borg help.
(4) From First Contact, we know the Borg can integrate flesh with machine as they did this with Data, but perhaps they needed Maddoxs help to create a sentient android mind.
(5) Ramdha seems to know that she cant kill Soji with a pistol, so instead tries to kill herself. Is this to stop the information of how the Romulans brought down the cube getting into Borg hands?
So what was Dahjs role? Perhaps to infiltrate the Daystrom to retrieve B4 in order to recreate Data, after all the Queen did have a penchant for him.

It seems VERY uncharacteristic that Starfleet would fire a capable officer instead of simply reasigning her, and her continuing her career with honor, dignity and distinction having been so close to and groomed by the great captain. It also seems very uncharacteristic that a federation citizen would behave like a petty basket case and devolve into a bitter junkie because they got canned. Such a thing would be almost trivial in the true trek universe and the true federation brimming with opportunity. It would have been more true to star trek if that persons talents and skills were put to use in some private research project or for a multi planet commercial enterprise (enterprise, get it. What purpose does it serve to intentionally make her character so annoying, petty, weak and unimpressive? Why even have a character like that? I do wish she would stop calling him J L. She's not his ex wife or something. He's the captain or admiral or Sir or Jean Luc. Why can't these new people just stay true to the universes they are playing around in?

Dahj and soji are the Borg queen and data's children! somehow while the Borg had data as their prisoner they managed to extract some of his neurons but the Borg ran out of time, then Bruce Maddox got hold of this information and or experiment and finished it off, all of the synths had secret Borg tech inside that Maddox had used then the Borg collective activated a destruction mode in all those synths hence why Maddox went on the run.
Or maybe the synth attack was an inside job carried out by secret agents of both Star Fleet and the Romulans, who knows? maybe Q has something to do with all this and is testing Picard again lol.

This show is based on a lie. They make it painfully clear romulans were against AI as a sort of base for their current posture. However on season 3 of TNG the episode The Defector it's made clear to Data that there is a host of Romulan cyberneticists who would love to be that close to him. I believe this show was and his handled by people that barely knew TNG beyond the 3 or 4 cornerstone things (Q, Data, Borgs, Romulans) and just ran with it.

That's the TMZ!
Those famous rocks and other locations frequently used in Star Trek are all within the TMZ, a thirty mile zone around the studio's location. If you film at a location beyond the TMZ you have to pay the cast and crew overtime, so to keep costs down the few locations that could double as an alien planet are used again and again.

Why does picard have a 5+ hectare (12+ acre) family vineyard and small mansion in lush france but Raffi has a rundown trailer in what looks like death valley? Thought money doesnt exist anymore. Even if money were around or some merit-based remunerations exist, she would have at least half of what picard does due to rank of commander.

While it's possible to base philosophical beliefs on virtual emotions, it will lead to scientific problems and conflicts, and, both suffering and unhappy life, as well as other problems, whether by communication gap or, requiring gap analysis to solve.

Warning! Wet blanket incoming. Why doesn't it feel like i'm watching goerge lucas's or gene roddenberry's vision when I see these new shows? But rather a twisted mirror image that cannot transcend our present reality, tastes and perceptions.

I thought the greatest Easter egg was Tamlyn Tomitas character Commodore Oh shown outside the Daystrom institute in Okinawa. Tomita starred as Ralph Macchios love interest in Karate Kid part II which took place in Okinawa.

First of all, Hugh wasnt abandoned by the borg, and secondly, he didnt give himself the name Hugh. Beverly and Geordi gave it to him, but he accepted it and liked it. Did you watched the episode?
