One of Chadwick Boseman's co-stars has penned a heartbreaking tribute to the Black Panther himself. Danai Gurira who appeared alongside Boseman in Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame as Okoye, head bodyguard to Boseman's King T'Challa of Wakanda took to Instagram to share an emotional essay following the news of the actor's untimely death. Dorothy: Being a Chadwick Boseman fan & guitarist performing originals for bk trailers that included Black Panther, I lament his passing & wish him a hymn. Boseman is already missed as an actor & a representative for various peoples. My favorite films w/ Chadwick will always be Get on Up and 21 Bridges.

Although he lived a short life, it was filled to the brim he left no stones unturned. It's not how long you live it's what you accomplished while you lived. He left a legacy of love and respect, an honor beyond measures, a hero with a character that represented what a true KING was, rest well my Black Brother your passing has left a sting in my heart.

They were amazing together in that movie. There will never be another actor like boseman. Just like when we lost Robin Williams and there will never be another Williams there will NEVER be another boseman. He was one of a kind

He taught so many to fight, and so many more to come out of the shadows. And even though he's gone, he will live on in our hearts as a hero, a legend, a warrior.
