Last year it was the amazing Kevin Conroy who passed away long before his time; today it's Matthew Perry. I was born in 87' and these two Artists were the sole reason I got into acting. It's this different kinda pain when someone who was there during your formative years is gone so suddently. To anyone who's ever battled an addiction or been a victim of violence: DO NOT ever let a hateful notion 'there's something wrong with me' sink in. Trust me, it's a recipe for self hatred and compulsive anxieties later on. When we suffer and we need a break, it's only natural to think: maybe if I wasn't 'different', if I was 'normal' I would be accepted. No, we all struggle with our own demons, addictions or anxieties in the same way the haters will always find something else to prey upon. For ex; I've always had kinda androgynous look, which was a fuel for bullies when I was growing up. I embraced it, used it to my advantage in my acting / modeling career, I was almost the face of Leon in these new Resident Evil games: )

I saw Mathew in a play he wrote about addiction called The End of Longing. I m glad I got to see him work as a sober actor of I d like to think her was at the time. Of course I loved him as Chandler. But to see him act in a play about addiction and hearing him at the end when his monologue was more like a qualification at a meeting, told me he was a genuine humbled person struggling like the rest of us with our demons. To hear him in interviews talking openly about addiction was also remarkable as he revealed some of the horrors he was going through physically. I m glad he is now at rest and free from suffering.

May he rest in Peace. My 3 favorite friendships on comedy shows are Joey and Chandler, JD and Turk and Shawn and Gus. These friendships have always felt genuine to me. I feel bad for the 5 Friends left. I m sure they re all hurting really bad since last night. All 6 of them together have brought and will continue to bring a lot of people laughter.

I really hope he knew how much he was loved around the world. I know I loved him and still love his castmates to this day. I have all ten seasons of Friends on my phone and it is my go to antidepressant. Only the good die young.

Watching Friends has always been my favorite rerun to watch. knowing the loss of Matthew Perry now even more so Matthew you will be remembered always for entertaining us and sorely missed. RIP!
