Reading the first couple of issues of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, I couldn't help but think that it had the feel of old school horror comics that were killed off when they came up with the comic book code. That being said if they get anywhere near the comic book it's going to far from the type of fair one would see on the CW. It was a violent dark and twisted comic and as I understand it got more twisted as the comics went on.

Like many of you, I was also hesitant about Riverdale. But after the pilot and a few episodes later, I was sold! I can appreciate the dark backdrop the series showcased inmakes for an even more enticing watch. I hope the show will be good, in the sense not a CW-level teen drama for school girls. But I gotta say, if they hadn't cast Kiernan Shipka, if they had given the role to that insipid Disney actress they mention at the beginning, I wouldn't even give it a try. Shipka is what makes the whole thing. odd and worth giving a chance.

Even though its going to be based on the comics rather than the 90s show, the resemblance between Kiernan and Melissa is undeniable. Though its going to be a horror series, I hope Keirnan can still somehow manage to match MJHs level of over-the-top high-strung dramatic personality, because that was relatable af.

But guys if you want the crossover you see Sabrina is supernatural and riverdale is not it supposed to be supernatural just like in Archie comics but the producers and directors made it trash I said trash and I cant wait to see Sabrina on Netflix it would be so good riverdale need to be supernatural

Ive read tons of Archie comics, which obviously makes me know of Sabrina. I got into the horror genre recently and am hoping they dont screw this up. Im pretty sure its supposed to take place in the 60s, so there may not be a Riverdale crossover, but I could be wrong.

I love Riverdale but don't really like how they did the show. But I enjoy it for what it is. Especially since my favs are in it. I grew up watching the sitcom Sabrina the teenage witch in the 90s. I am really hoping Netflix does this justice

The Riverdale crossover is the one thing that I can't see happening. Due to the fact that it's on Netflix and Riverdale never hinted any supernatural elements in the show like what Sabrina is going to give us.

Honestly the reboot of Sabrina the teenage witch now the chilling adventures of Sabrina is far different from the sitcom bubble gum. the reboot is dark hellish horror also Buffy the vampire Slayer.

They could have a crossover. So what if they are on different networks. Super girl and the flash had a crossover when super girl was on abc or nbc ( I forgot ) and the flash was on the cow.

I love this series so much! Ive rewatched the season 4 times now and can not wait for the second season to come out to Netflix. Hoping for a third, fourth and fifth season!

I knew it was based on a comic but never knew Sabrina was a horror.
Same goes to the 1994 film The Mask with Jim Carrey, since the comic it was based on was Horror.

Kieran Shipka actually looks like a young Melissa Joan Hart. She also kind of has the likeness of Sabrina from the comics, so this is most perfect casting.
