Janet IS the BLUEPRINT. she is the ultimate superstar with the kindest heart after all of these years. Her humbleness is so genuine. Her empathy for others says a lot. Her music catalog and music videos and tours and choreography are on a whole different level. I am so glad that I got to grow up with Janet's music and to be alive in a time where Janet is alive. What a gift it is to watch someone be so talented and so genuine for over 4 decades!
PS- Janet may have put the Superbowl halftime behind her. but her LOYAL FANS will never be Justin Timberlake fans. We will always have her back!

i am a dismayed with the writer of some of these videos. the misinformation in this and other videos is reason to hire me or another writer a bit more familiar with pop culture or this particular subject. as far as the list is concerned, its fair. would have switched ALRIGHT for ESCAPADE and COME BACK TO ME for PLEASURE PRINCLE as there was not one one slow cut on this list. janet Jackson is more than a dance artist. And this list did not include videos that were a bit more innovative.

Janet was one of my favorite artists when I was younger. I couldn't wait for her to put out a new album and the accompanying videos. This list is spot-on. I remember when I was a kid when scream came out, I did not get that it was a criticism of the media - to me the song and video had bits that reminded me of how me and my brothers sometimes teased and didnt always get along. I thought it was an homage to their childhood.

To many great music videos to make a top ten in my eyes. Janet is the greatest female entertainer in my personal opinion. I will say though my favorite music video by her is also my favorite song by her and style and look by her and that is BLACK CAT.
