You know, I myself have a little crush on a woman who kind of looks like Hermione (not that the resemblance is the one and only reason I like her. She used to work at the bakery I go to a lot, and we chatted and connected so many times. On her last day, she said my coffee was on her. One day, I ran into her at the bar. We chatted, and I said something about her bravely coming out of her shell better than me because of her singing karaoke during her first time here. Not long after, when she and her friends were singing again, she gestured me toward them and pointed to the lyrics on the screen. What's funny is I had told her I didn't like being in the spotlight during the said out of shell conversation. Not to criticize her action and encouragement. Just saying it's interesting and I'm wondering about her motive, perspective, and if it could've meant something. What do you guys think? We had always gotten along so well at the bakery. There's a swing dance next month. If I run into her by chance prior, should I ask her to go with me? I don't want to end up like Ron at the Yule Ball, when he was too late to ask Hermione.

Ive known for certain that Ron and Hermione were going to get together since the fourth book - there were signs from Chamber of Secrets onwards, but Goblet of Fire made it extremely obvious to me that they definitely liked each other in that way.
But there were signs even before GoF that were easy to brush aside and miss: Ron was disgusted by Hermiones infatuation with Lockhart, Ron defended Hermione and tried to hex Draco for insulting her (and didnt even really complain about puking up slugs for her, the fact that their arguing went from childish banter to clear tension because they liked each other but neither knew how to address it properly. I also found it funny that Harry himself thought that the two of them were trying to parent him in PoA, especially given the similarities between Jily and Romione (pureblood Wizard, muggle-born witch, Ron and James were both Quidditch players, Lily and Hermione both extremely intelligent/top of the school etc)

JK Rowling herself said that these 2 needed couples therapy to get where they are now (say what you will about cursed child but romione was one of the details they got right)
I dont think theres a single licensed therapist anywhere in the entire wizarding world so obviously that means theyre going to a muggle hospital right? Well while thinking about Ron being amazed by what muggle hospitals look like while Hermione is telling him to stay focused is absolutely hilarious no, I dont see that happening later
Personally when I think of Ron and Hermione getting couples therapy my head just immediately jumps to Harry and Ginny being fed up with their crap and locking them in a broom closet refusing to let them out until they resolve the issue

Idk why people ship Harry and Hermione. I mean, they didn't have any kind of connection. It was just friendship. Plus, we all know that Ron is a scaredycat when it comes to dangerous situations. We have all seen how he is always scared. But when Hermione is in trouble, he doesn't hesitate at all, and he always goes to protect her. I mean, if THAT isn't a sign of love, than idk what it is. If she was surrounded by millions of spiders, he would still go and save her. I honestly saw the connection when Ron found out that Hermione was in the hospital frozen in Chamber of Secrets. He looked so worried

The only reason you can hate in romione is if you have only watched the movies. In the books, its not only clear that theyd be perfect for each other, but it shows how bad Harry and hermione would be. Ron has a lot more good qualities in the book, for one, and it makes readers believe that he actually deserves her. They also work SUPER well together in the books, a lot better than in the movies. There are some cool romione moments in the movies, but they are a more healthy and wholesome couple in the books.

There was a moment in the first movie. Hermione slams a giant book on the table, calling it light reading. Ron says, THIS is light reading? and Hermione just smolders at him. It was so brilliant and so cute. Sorcerer's Stone is still my favorite HP film after Azkaban. All the movies are good but I believe it's worthy of appreciation to have us fall in love with all these young adventurers in the very first movie.

ok no one else may think this but one of my favourite ron/hermione scenes is when hermione comes back in chamber of secrets and instead of hugging each other they do the awkward hand shake. idk it just always seemed really cute to me especially at the start and it showed that hermione and harry were definitely just friends where as ron and hermione had a few more levels to them

A Ron and Hermione moment that also is in my top ten saddest scenes, is the scene where Hermione is crying in the hall after watching Lavender and Ron kissing. Harry follows her out and comforts her. She asks him how it feels to see Ginny with another man. He holds her as she is bawling and he whispers it feels like this.
