Ah I remember my graduation
One of the happiest days of my life
Sense of joy and excitement
Achievement and letting go of grudges
wonder of having the gowns
The throwing of the square hats
The signing of the books
The after party OMFG
I slept with my beautiful school crush, I was her first
I hugged and embraced and sang kareoke for the first time and shared a shot with my former worst enemy
I mosh pitted with ALL my mates
we surfed and partied with a bonfire and fireworks on the beach with our school in full view
God it was a glorious glorious glorious day.
Best day of all of highschool

I thought Rebas season 1 finally was good. Cheyenne (Rebas 17 year old daughter) who fought her way through finally 9 months of high school, after revealing she was pregnant at the start of the series, as graduate approaches Cheyenne is given and turns down the chance to graduate early as she wants to be like everyone else but on the big day she hides the fact shes in labor long enough to get her diploma. After which Van (her boyfriend/husband) carrys her across the stage announcing Were having a baby!

Didn't really expect to see it here, since only a few dozen people watched the series, but I would have the Boston Public first-season graduation on my version of the list. It should have just been the series finale, as many great characters gave their farewells in that ceremony.
Also, no college graduations? 'Cause Zoey Bartlet's commencement ended not only Season 4 of The West Wing, but also provided the jump-off point for Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Schlamme from that series.

While definitely not exactly Top 10, an Honorable Mention should have gone to Reba, when first Cheyenne had to fight to be included in the ceremony, then ends up going into labor right as she's about to get her High School diploma, and her husband, Van has to carry her across the stage. (I've recorded Reba's song that she sings to baby Elizabeth & sang it to my own daughter, who was born later that same year)

The only graduation I came here for was On Deck. I was happy Zack and Cody were able to exit school together. But I felt bad for their separation from their girls. And seven years later, we are left still in the dark of what their future holded. The Suite Life was over but their story was just beginning. How it continues stays a mystery for now until the Sprouse twins hopefully return someday.

Switched at Birth? That speech that Daphne gave was honestly one of the best things ever in TV.
She gave her speech in American Sign Language(which is something that has never been done before. I still think it's one of the best TV moments ever. Never fails to make me cry listening to her speak and watching her sign. Disappointed it didn't make the list.

DARIA for #1.
And that's why.
Stand firm for what you believe in, until and unless experience proves you wrong. Remember, when the emperor looks naked, the emperor IS naked. The truth and a lie are not sort of the same thing. And there is no aspect, no facet, no moment of life that can't be improved with pizza. Thank you.

I'll never forget my high school graduation, I managed to humiliate the school bully in front of everyone by mentioning she didn't't receive an award. she deserved every bit of shade thrown her way. it's one of my fondest memories. does that make me a bad person?

I am so happy The OC was far up on the list because it's honestly one of my favourite graduation scenes EVER. Always has the power to make me cry, not of sadness but from happiness. AH I LOVE THAT SHOW! And BUFFY, GILMORE GIRLS, VAMPIRE DIARIES

West Wing. The President's daughter, Zoey Bartlet, graduates from Georgetown and later that night is kidnapped in a three episode story. One of the Secret Service agents is shot in the head.

My Favorite graduations are Buffy, Smallville, Roswell, The OC, Dawson's Creek, Beverly Hills 90210 Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, Glee.
reply

Really tho! Smh how one tree hill ended up as an honorable mention, it should have been on the list. Everyone remembers that graduation
reply

Buffy is not higher on list and no 1 is the best choice because you see Jackson and Luke cry along with lorelai and sookie
reply

The first think i thought of when i saw the title of this video was definitely nr. 7, i litteraly cried during that scene
reply

I didn't see Beverly Hills 90210 on here. The entire class chanted Donna Martin Graduates until they let her graduate.
reply

Zack: Goodbye seniors. Goodbye class. High School, you can kiss my-.
Mr. Mosby: .Okay! Thank you Mr. Martin.

reply

um, but where's Smallville? They had a freaking meteor shower interrupt theirs, how is that not memorable!
reply

Has as anyone realized that Yale seems to be the go to school for tv characters to go and most dont get in.
reply

One Tree Hill should have been on the list and not an honorable mention. It was better than Gossip Girls.
reply

How the hell did Zack Morris get a 1502 on his SATS. He was a horrible student and just barely graduated.
reply

I like the graduation episode of The Middle when Sue got her yearbook back & it was full of well wishes.
reply

Boy Meets World only #3? Where's the Middle? Sue graduating was one of the best moments of the series
reply
