I dont understand why people say this movie is inaccurate bc you have to stay 6 feet apart at all times.

Kk so in this movie we have one character that dies bc of this disease, one character gets a lung transplant, in most movies like this you know the ending is gonna be oh theyre gonna end up together bc its Hollywood and yah it this one they dont even end up together which is really sad
I also feel like people make a whole big deal over the 5 feet apart thing like lets be honest we dont always stay 6 feet apart maybe we dont hug but we dont stay 6 feet apart. If you have cf please enjoy this movie even if you dont think it is accurate it still brings attention to cf which is what we want tin the world. Now I understand some parts like the whole roaming free in the hospital thing is king of not true in some situations but it just kind of starts the movie so In a way its good thing. Wow! Another movie about 2 lovers who are sick. I hope there will be a movie about 2 lovers who have myasthenia gravis with lung problem too. I know how it feels to be sick. Its one heck of a roller coaster ride most specially when you have many rare diseases that doesn't have any cure at all. I have a rare condition with my eyes, kidney, heart now my lungs plus i have a myasthenia gravis. I had this mg last year and now at 2nd year, it got worst and im lucky coz even if things gets bad when i get infected with some viruses from other people who are sick, i still have God protecting me coz everything is controlled. Now im suffering from more chest pains coz now i have nodules on my lungs. Which makes it hard to breathe sometimes. I hope Hollywood will make a movie for mg patients

I'm a new to Riverdale and currently watching S2 but as soon i watch this trailer i love it. Big fan of Cole and the idea of the touch thing and the sickness with hospital its a really clever idea. love it. I yes it has a lot in common with Fault with Our Stars but i hope it has a happy ending. But seriously if you do have a sickness and fall in with someone at the hospital with the sickness you clinent to that, you held on with it. Just becouse your sick doesnt mean you can enjoy life. I love the message behind the film. im going to watch this in cinema

PLEASE don't take the romance away from this movie. As someone with CF, I'm extremely worried that the same thing that happened with TFiOS is gonna happen here.
It's not about the romance. The romance is there to pull people in, but the movie is to teach people about the disease, which WILL kill anybody who has it.
This isn't gonna be a cute or romantic movie (or at least, it shouldn't be. This is a movie depicting the nightmare that we have to go through.

Sorry but I had to say this. she said that they have to stay 5 feet apart at all times. but that is incorrect. They have to stay 6 feet apart at all time but Will and Stella took a risk and took 1 foot away. So instead of Will and Stella staying 6 feet apart it is 5 feet apart if that makes sense. (Correct me if I am wrong but I believe this is correct)

I just got done reading the book and it's 6 feet apart and they say/recognize that in the book but later on Stella says something along the lines of: Out of everything that cystic fibrosis has taken from me I think I can take one foot. Or something like that I don't remember exactly what she said. But that's how the title 5 feet apart came about.

0: 58 actually they have to stay 6 feet apart all the time. But at a moment they want to closer so she has a stick thats 5 feet long. and she asks him if he is in to be closer then 6 feet. Even in the tweet he said it is 6 feet! If you tell facts, you have to know it are good facts, haha, no hate!

Im sure this is already said in the comments but Ill say it anyway: it is made clear in the books and Im assuming the movie that they are supposed to be six feet apart. Five feet is something the main character comes up with. They got that part right

In this movie Will (Cole Spouse) also has B. cepacia along with CF which is tough, Im reading the book and thats how I know. That would be extremely hard to deal with. Im gonna cry in this movie. I already know it.

Thanks for sharing! As a person with cf, I will say that this movie is pretty accurate! Some scenes are pretty dramatic but in a Hollywood movie aren't all movies dramatic? This is a thumbs up for me!

I love that they consulted with Claire Wineland, she was such a great advocate. It is such a shame that she passed before it could premiere, but also a testament to having CF become more well known.
