MsMojo: Some clowns are intended to make us laugh and others are meant to make us cry, but this scene does both.
Me: Wrong, the clowns are nothing but ULTIMATE EVIL! They wanna be the dominant species on the planet, and theyll destroy us all to make it happen!
DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL!

I love the pink elephants song and the work all day work all night song is cool too, and definitely baby mine. It was funny that all of the elephants were so sassy lol. I also liked when dumbo got a bath from his mom that was my cutest moment with him I think. Also liked the crows its annoying that people bring them into controversy and it gives them like a presence in the film that a lot of films in the 1940s didnt do in a nice way.

I think honestly the most moment of Dumbo that scared me was pink elephants I was little the song used to scared me it reminded me of Heffalumps and wozos from Winnie the Pooh and that song still scares me today. Seeing Dumbo and his mom also made me cry when I was little Im definitely going to go see the new version eventually and Im hoping that it will be as good as the original

On #4 Dumbo's delivery, I have the theory that the stork actually delivered the wrong baby. To me, Mrs. Jumbo and the other circus elephants look like Indian elephants. Indian elephants have smaller ears than African. See where I'm going with this? So I'm thinking maybe the stork delivered Dumbo to Mrs. Jumbo by accident and some lucky African lady got an Indian baby instead.

When I was little, I used to watch this every second I could. So i ended up breaking the first VHS and my mom had to go get me another. Lol. But when I was 5 and she passed away, the scene where he goes to see his momma always gets to me. But I still love this movie. It's my favorite Disney movie.

As sad as it is the whole swaying from side to side thing Dumbo and his mother do when they are separated and alone is something real elephants actually do when they are stressed and kept isolated. They are a social animal and it really messes them up to be kept alone.

Pink elephants on parade is my favourite part in all of Disney's movies they even keep it in the remake spoiler alert
They do a bubble act and it has the bubbles turn into pink elephants from every scene of the song it even got me toe tapping and humming the tune!

I enjoyed every scene in this movie from Casey Jones Jr to I see an elephant fly. It made me laugh made me cry even surprised I never forget the feeling when I first watch it. PS, I don't care what people say about the crows I enjoyed that scene a lot.
reply

It is funny but my tearful moment was actually when Dumbo and Mrs Jumbo wave goodbye at the crows
I always say the crows as teachers and given Dumbo the confidence to be something Just to wave goodbye at them was really heavy

Honorable mention(s) Timothy scares the elephants, the parade scene, the beginning or the storks come in and you get to see the baby animals, and the very end we're dumbo gets reunited with mrs. Jumbo
reply

For me, what gets me when the Baby of Mine sequence appears, it's when they finally reconnect, Dumbo can fully comprehend how much he'd missed his mother. This is when the waterworks began for me
reply

I mean yes Bambi's mom and Mufasa dying are sad scenes but Mrs Jumbo being restrained and torn away from her child is flat out traumatising. Although not as traumatising as those pink elephants.

recently saw the new live-action remake a few days ago. Gotta be honest, it wasn't bad but doesn't hold a candle to the original! It'll always be a classic. at least through eyes.
reply

Honestly I loved the new live action even tho it got a lot of hate. It was fun and cute idk why people hated it
Yall gotta stop watching movies so critically just have fun lmao

Dumbo is truly a heartbreaking tale that will make anyone cry, laugh and just feel so good after watching it, truly one of the unique movies Disneys done in years.

Poor Mr. Jumbo. What that boy did to Dumbo was terrible. :-(: -( I love Timothy Q Mouse. Aww! :-): -DThe Baby Mine scene is one of the saddest ones ever. :-(: -(
reply

The ORIGINAL Dumbo is a masterpiece of charm, simplicity, pacing and excellent character development.
Tim Burton understands NOT ONE of those things.

Casey Jr. was my favorite because not only is he my favorite character from Dumbo and all other Disney characters hes also a train and I love trains!
reply

. as devastating as the death of Andy's mom
Uhhhhh what? She's alive! Or is this another Andy I don't know about? I don't understand.

reply

Very very great list I like it a lot and a lot of fun too and very funny too I can't wait to see the live action movie of dumbo
reply

Dumbo flying in the circus in the climax and shooting peanuts at the female elephants was the best part of the movie. Payback.
reply

I still keep on crying everytime I see the baby mine part. Even in the trailers of the new dumbo I kept on crying.
reply

Thank you for putting Casey Jr on this list! I'm glad you talked about him in this video as everyone else just skips him!
reply

IF you haven't watched the movie, you shouldn't watch this video. That's a simple way to avoid spoilers.
reply

One thing I'm not sure about. Who's the true villain of the movie? The ringmaster or the elephant matriarch.
reply

I would love to land in a pool of pie filling that would be so soft and fluffy and relaxing and soothing
