10. I guess you can say de la Cruz was bad to the bone, even after death. I'd imagine no one would want to remember him any time soon.
9. I guess Dr. Facilier wasn't ready to face the consequences of his actions. Had he not underestimated the powers frogs possess, he would have been one of the few Disney villains who actually succeeded in the end.
8. Honestly, I would not have liked it either my dragon neck was stabbed by a sword. Yet again, this is some pretty petty revenge for a powerful someone who wasn't invited to a birthday party.
7. Is it even right to call Judge Claude Frollo a parent? He's like the male version of Lady Gothel.
6. She was a wolf in sheep's clothing. Thankfully, a very specific set of circumstances at home made Judy Hopps realize how immoral she was. Not even a sequel would make this movie more perfect than it already is.
5. I hope the victims of Ursela's deals, agreements and contracts would be set free.
4. It's what you get when you abuse your magical daughter's youth inducing powers. I wonder if it'll ever grow back the same way ever again. Does Tangled 2 sound like a bad idea?
3. One of the few Disney villains I can really sympathize with, despite being the Greek god of the underworld.
2. So close, yet so Jafar.
1. I think he succeeded more than any other villain on this list. Even Bellwether. I'm as confused as you are as to why Scar was above murdering children. At least he made for good hyena food and Greek clothing.
Honorable mention 1: I for one am glad AUTO was decommissioned. Look what it did to my boy WALL-E.
Honorable mention 2: I guess it was game over for King Candy/Turbo. The more I analyze the movie, the more innovative it looks. I'm down for some cross game action.
Honorable mention 3: I wonder if turning herself into an old hag was a bad idea to begin with.
Honorable mention 4: no one fights like Gaston, no one falls like Gaston.
Honorable mention 5: I think he might just be one of the most overrated Disney villains.

Did you know that Esmeralda was going to kill Judge Frollo in Disneys Hunchback of Notre Dame? They scrapped because they didnt want to get a PG-13 rating. Youll find it on the IMBD trivia for Disneys Hunchback of Notre Dame.
The filmmakers briefly considered having Quasimodo killed off, since that is his fate in the original novel. He was originally supposed to be stabbed by Frollo, then Esmeralda regains consciousness and tries to save him by killing Frollo. Phoebus was then supposed to meet up with them, and Quasimodo's last wish was to ring the bells one last time. They take him to the bells, then Esmeralda and Phoebus help him ring the bells as he dies. The final shot was going to include Esmeralda and Phoebus crying over their best friend as the people of Paris cheer for their success, unaware of Quasimodo's death. Luckily, this is not the ending that was used because even hardcore fans of the novel agree that the ending they used instead was a more suitable conclusion for the theme of this film - IMDB Trivia.
The filmmakers originally wanted Esmeralda to kill Frollo in order to save Quasimodo. Esmeralda would've jumped onto the ledge then grabbed Quasimodo's hand. Frollo would've attempted to kill Quasimodo with his sword, then Esmeralda would've kicked Frollo off the cathedral, causing Frollo to fall to his death. This idea was ultimately abandoned, as having a heroine kill the villain was considered improper in a family film, and may have gotten the film a PG-13 rating - IMDB Trivia.

Um Lady Tremaine? Considering she kept Cinderella as a 24/7 scullery maid so no one knew how she was being treated, and if it werent for fairy godmother she wouldnt have gone to the ball, not to mention she managed to lock Cinderella in her room when she wasnt paying attention and considering how many damn steps Jack and Gus had to climb with a key larger than them and she even tripped the page to literally crush Cinderellas chance. Also in 3 she somehow manages to control the wand (which shouldnt be possible) literally reversed time to change the princes memories and even after he truly remembers Cinderella she spells Anastasia as her and almost turned her and Cinderella into frogs after Anastasia couldnt go through a fake love marriage. In a way Jafar did win in 2 considering Abis Mal was a manipulative goon, all he had to do was protect his lamp from destruction, but Iago got fed up with his bullsht and kicked it in the lava that Jafar himself created. What about Lyle Tiberias Rorke, considering he and the rest of the crew could care less about the Atlantians, seeing Kida was sealed in a bomb proof cage, and Milo is the first and only Disney prince who isnt buff or athletic, but used his brains to outsmart Rorke by cutting him with a glass shard that had the crystal in it? Not to mention even after Rorke is literally shattered into pieces the hot air balloon was still going, and if it wasnt for Helga Atlantis probably wouldve died.

Lady Tremaine almost succeeded in her plot to have the Prince marry Anastasia instead of Cinderella in the second sequel to the original movie A TWIST IN TIME, by using the Fairy Godmother's wand to change Anastasia into a doppelganger of Cinderella, but her daughter can't go through with the deception and reveals to the Prince that Cinderella was the girl he danced with at the ball, and fell in love with. Enraged, Lady Tremaine is about to change both daughter and stepdaughter into toads, when the Prince deflects the spell back at her and Drizzella and they are the ones who are transformed instead, vanishing to rematerialize in a dungeon cell as a pair of croaking amphibians. Then in the end credits they are transformed back into their human forms, but wearing servant's rags like Cinderella used to wear and holding brooms, indicating their punishment is to be put to work cleaning the palace

Yeah who would have suspected a little lamb to be so evil, in a movie centered around animals living in a human like society youd probably expect a snake to be the main antagonist, after all, out of all other animals snakes are the ones most associated with evil, treachery, and conniving, though in that sense they would have been mistreated in a similar manner to Jews during the era of Nazi Germany, as Jews were also inaccurately associated with evil, treachery, and conniving, though the most confusing part of that is most Jews are white, they were probably seen as white trash in a similar manner to Irishmen, though the way weve treated other races, I wouldnt be surprised if several races of color see all Caucasians as white trash, but thats just the circle of treatment, you treat other people badly and they treat you badly

The only villain you forgot to mention was Lady Tremaine in Cinderella. Throughout the entire film, she does EVERYTHING in her power to make Cinderella's life miserable and/or prevent her from pursuing her dreams. The only reasons Cinderella won in the end was because: 1) The Fairy Godmother's magical intervention made it possible for her to go to the ball and meet her true love, 2) Cinderella's animal friends were able to band together to rescue her from the tower and finally put an end to her feline tormenter Lucifer, and 3) Cinderella had the foresight to bring her other glass slipper down with her when the Grand Duke came.

One thing I liked about The Princess and the Frog is how it accurately portrayed that Voodoo is not strictly evil, much like the force it has a light side and a dark side to it, Mama Odie uses the light side of Voodoo in which she ask good spirits for their assistance in assisting others, while on the other hand Dr Facilier uses the dark side of Voodoo where you have to make deals with evil spirits in exchange for power, with friends on the other side like Facilier had who needs enemies on the other side?

I'd argue a few of these villains DID succeed. Scar was king for years before finally being beaten. Mother Gothel was stated to have lived for centuries hoarding the flower to herself and then succeeded in stealing Rapunzel away for 18 years before she was defeated. Even Frollo got away with his evil deeds for decades before he being stopped. Hell, Ernesto literally DIED having won. he was stopped in the afterlife like 60-80 years later! So. yeah, some of these villains actually did succeed.

Many people believe that Notre Dame is sentient in the film considering the gargoyles for one, and as for the demon gargoyle that Frollo was standing on, the cathedral must have agreed with Frollos smite the wicked and plunge them into the fiery pit quote and decided to do just that, those delusional, self-righteous villains are all the same in one regard, they are oblivious to the fact theyre evil until their judgment day, when they get one heck of a rude awakening

Theres one villain who actually succeed and its a villain most people forget about and that is the coachman, and yes he wasnt charged for his crimes and he keeps on going with the spree of selling donkeys (aka kids who were turned from donkeys from pleasure island. The reason why I agree he shouldnt be in this list is because he actually did succeed.

Hades still could of succeeded had he kept his cool after Hercules saved Meg from the River of Styx. They made a deal of him staying and Meg going. Hades could of allowed Hercules to return Megs spirit//soul to her body and than forced Hercules to return with him to the underworld FOREVER as per the deal.

Nah. Bellwethers true downfall was not keeping her mouth shut and instead gloating about her plot.
Did she learn nothing from Waternoose?
(Yeah I know its two different universes but I wouldnt be surprised if they had an animal version of Monsters Inc. Mooonsters Inc? Lol)

I still don't understand why Flynn didn't just wait until after Rapunzel healed him before he cut her hair. Just grap the shard of glass, have her sing the song, act like you're gonna kiss her goodbye & THEN cut her hair. Gothel's dead & you 2 live happily ever after.

I'm Shocked Gaston didn't become on the list and Hades did.
Don't get me wrong though, Hercules is a top 10 underestimated Disney movie and has the best Disney song of them all.
Zero to Hero.
Scar and Jafar definitely

I feel like Ratigan should have been on that list. If the clock hadn't tolled, well. Just my opinion. He also shouldn't have been an honorable mention in Top 10 Smartest Disney Villains, he's actually very smart.

Are you always going to forget Mother Gothels daughter Cassandra in the animated series? Cassandra betrayed her friend, became powerful and has 2 songs. She succeeded until she was used by Zhan Tiri.
