Gimmie Shelter 2013 is also a good movie. Its true story about a pregnant teenager who ran away from her abusive mom to look for her dad for a better family. Well step mom isnt a big ball of sunshine when she meets her because she never knew her husband had another kid before their marriage and tries to force the teen to get an abortion. So that results in the teen being homeless. Shes also attacked several times by her mother who tracks her down. The pictures of the real woman who went through all those hardships is in the end of the film.

For those in the replies talking about Precious as a true story, it technically was, but only because it was based on several different events that happened in various different stories.
It's still important in the sense that things like that happen, but in this case it didn't all happen to one girl (but it was definitely the assumption that they did which drew so much attention to the film in the first place.

For everyone talking about that Love, Rosie should be on the list it shouldnt be. It was a great movie but it wasnt centred on teen pregnancy. It was about a love story between Rosie and Alex. They were adults throughout most of the movie and there was a teen pregnancy but it was used a plot device as another reason why the both didnt confess their feelings yet.

Out of this list, I've seen Where the Heart Is, Saved, and Juno. I didn't realize there were so many movies about teen pregnancy. I also thought that Novalee was 19, not 17, but that still makes her a teen.
