(SPOILERS for About Time)
About Time is a cute movie, but it has a pretty bad plot hole. Once Tim and Mary have a child, Tim discovers that he can't go back in time to moments before the baby was born without it resulting in a completely different baby being born. So he stops visiting earlier memories to ensure he can keep his children.
When his dad passes away, Tim still retains the ability to go back in time to visit moments with his father, so it's almost like his father never died. But then Tim and Mary decide to have another baby, which would mean Tim has to give up visiting his father because he passed away before the third baby was born, meaning going back in time after the baby is born would result in a totally different baby with a different set of genes and different personality. So Tim time travels to visit his dad one last time and let him know that the baby is coming and they'll never see each other again.
So they decide to indulge in one last happy memory together, which is. going back to Tim's childhood to spend the day at the beach? HOW DOES THAT NOT ERASE ALL OF THE ALREADY-BORN BABIES?

guys pls i need help, i am looking for a movie but i forgot the name of the movie and the actors.
the movie goes like this:
the main actress is a beverly hills girl and the main actor is a rock boy. The girl had a boyfriend, and one night the boy (main actor) went to the girl's (main actress) boyfriends party, but ended up causing trouble and getting kicked out. Im not sure but i think they saw each other before the trouble, and the boy snuck in to the party to meet her again. After that they began hanging out and so on.
And at the end they ended up together, but on the present scene, the girl was with her daughter. She was telling her daughter her love story and so on.
I can barely recall it now.
If you know this movie please comment down below ive been searching this for a month

I love the movie Take Me Home about a woman who hires a NYC cab driver to drive her home to California and they develop a romance along the way. I also loved this movie called Sanctuary that came out in 2016 about this law (now repealed) in Ireland that banned individuals with developmental disabilities from being romantically involved. Sad, but so meaningful and funny too.

the 10 most overrated romance movies (if you say they're underrated. All these movies are about troubled people who don't know what to do with their lives, and try to convince us that living without purpose is a great thing. And the Academy Honorary Award in recognition for a wasted youth filming meaningless movies goes to:
ZOE KAZAAAAAAN!

I'm a big romance fan so I've seen a bunch of these (and I'm looking forward to seeing several others) and I've gotta say: #1 is spot on. Punch-Drunk Love is one of my very favorite movies, and it's one that all too many people haven't seen. I highly recommend it!
reply

High rating for PUNCH DRUNK LOVE: if Adam Sandler gives a performance that doesn't stink (i. e. what he's supposedly paid to do anyway, people have raptures. Emily Watson or whoever else he works with do the necessary and more as a matter of course, and nobody bothers.
reply

Omg I'm so happy they included About Time in this (although it should have been #1 imo, so funny and romantic but I love the most how it extends beyond just how they get together and goes into their lives together and the importance of the people around them.
reply

The F Word is also called What If. in some places, and it's definitely one of my favourite romantic comedies of all time. I found it because of my obsession with Adam Driver, and I really enjoyed the performances from him, Daniel Radcliffe and the rest.
reply

Man Up is funny, romantic and just plain good! Obvious Child is really good, a bit more serious and quirky. I would also recommend While You Where Sleeping, Always be my maybe and Love is all you need (a Susanne Bier romance - the best kind.

My choice- If Only. It stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Paul Nicholls. Its a great movie, its sad, it has my favorite romantic monologue towards the end. Its a great movie most people have never heard of.
reply

Which one(s) I like: #9
Which ones I've heard of: #9 & #2
Which one(s) I've seen: #9
. This is why I like watching these video's, there's always something new to watch or to hear about.

Destination Wedding is a very wordy, sardonic, funny and oddly sweet film with Keanu and Winona. They show that there is someone for everyone, even that snarky pain-in-ass stranger.
reply

I was so disappointed that What If/The F Word (one of my all-time favorite rom-coms) was in the thumbnail, but ended up being just an honorable mention. It deserves to be on the list!
reply

Playing it By Heart. I think the segments with Angelina Jolie and Ryan Phillipe are some of the best romantic moments captured on film. Also I'd second About Time. Damn amazing movie.
reply

How about Stellas Last Weekend. Its on Hulu if anyone wants to watch it. I recommend it! It stars the Wolff brothers (Nat and Alex) and its just so wholesome and broken.
reply

checks to see if About Time is on the list
sees it is
OK, I can take this list somewhat seriously now. But it should have been #1 without a doubt.

reply

I watch about time and the f-word all the time on TV. The F-WORD IS NOT A HONOURABLE MENTION. It is the best indie love story movie of the 2010's
reply

My girlfriend's boyfriend is very underrated and while parts of it might at first seem cliche they are actually subverted really well towards the end
reply

Punch Drunk Love is not totally underrated. It's always on top 10 of Rom Coms by critics of the genre. You should stated that these are unpopular.
reply

I have never even HEARD of these movies. let alone forgotten them. but I wouldnt be against watching them. interesting list.
reply

Mosquita and Mari is super underrated, so is the Watermelon Woman, She's Gotta Have It, and the Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind.
reply

I would have included The Time Travellers Wife cause I dont think that movie gets the attention and love it deserves
reply

Oh lord, The Broken Circle Breakdown killed my heart and set it on fire, I can't believe it only has an honorable mention
reply

Man up is definitely one of the gems Im really glad I found it, somehow similar to before sunrise but with a closure: )
reply

Man up is SUCH a good movie. Ill watch Simon Pegg in anything, but when he does a romcom, hes just soooo adorable!

Aww YEAH! Beyond the Lights is FIRE! I watch it every year! Matter of fact, I'm going to rewatch it tomorrow.
