Eh i wouldnt say saying i love you wasnt so hard anymore (paraphrasing so parden any minor mistake) I love you is a very hard thing for david to do before and after this moment with Patrick, David holds love to an extreme standard so when anyone meets it he feels an obligation to tell them but due to his past where opening=pain it became almost impossible for him to do he told his larents i love you twice once during the show and the other one before he has yet to tell Alexis that he loves her not because he doesnt but because his brain is telling him flight in those surcomstances which makes this moment with patrick more meaningful ik we love patrick because he said you're my Mariah Carry which is great for patrick but david convinced himswlf no one convinced him he convinced himself to break his walls just to say i love you one of the most difficult things he has ever done and thats reapectable

I'm trying to concentrate I really am honestly but I'm mesmerized by his choice of jumpers and tops not too sure about the dots one but so far that's only one out of so so many. Is he supporting a designer friends jumpers and top tops? My god, that stripey one with the blanked bit going down? Genius. I'm just waiting for. what's next? Raynaud's condition scaring me silly and a vindictive bloke working in this mental health place, so I'm crying, despite that his jumpers etc keeping my head above water! Please, what's next anti allergic wool?

2020 sucked. It took so much from all of us. It took from our kids. Our parents. Our friends. Our family. Then we find Schitts creek. This coercion of heart warming, caring, passionate actors who breathe joy into our lives with every episode. In the end all of us found something we could relate to. The pride of a parent. The love of watching your sibling reach the dreams. The sorrow of having to let someone go you are still in love with. There are so many things I take from Schitts Creek. All I can give back is Thank you.

The moment I realized Patrick was singing The Best to David, it literally hit me like a ton of bricks. Until then, I had never considered that song as being particularly romantic but when stripped down to Patrick and his guitar, just wow. When Patrick directs those words to David, you fully realize how much David means to Patrick and the depth of his love for him. It was just one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in television. It was truly the best.

True enough, Patrick gave so much love, affection and respect towards David despite his quirks and past. In return, David gave his trust and love again despite his troubled past. If they happened to be a real-life couple, they deserve all the love and happiness. They are my favorite on-screen couple for life.

The proposal became more amazing because when Patrick was about to not propose and go back because of his foot stuck in a branch, David took care of it. The look of Patrick's face during that scene when David was applying sanitizer is just something. I rewatched it and it made the proposal more emotional for me.

I wouldn't say the decision to stay in Schitts Creek was simple as his family was leaving. In their old life it wouldn't be unusual for them to go months without seeing each other so staying in town instead of moving with Alexis probably felt like he was risking that separation returning.
