The seasons that does their best in developing the characterization arcs of certain characters are TDA & TDWT since these characters arent no longer their typical walking all over the top stereotypes that defined their traits in TDI to beginning with.
TDA improved DJ Leshawna Heather Lindsay Justin Harold & Beth, while TDWT improved Lindsay Noah Tyler Owen Sierra Cody Alejandro and above all the true Queen B aka Heather.
As a matter of fact, the beginning of TDI was all about the introduction of the 22 original generation campers having each unique identity traits of their own stereotypes that you can relate to them as real life teenagers that you can see in the reality.
In TDROTI the newbie contestants are well established as characters with good developing in the 13 season episodes format for a short time even though their is a fair balance of screen time for everyone in the season 4, while TDAS was doing their worst in the name of characters being ruined and acting out of character for their behaviour as well as they follow their previous arcs in the past got old really quick.
The less said about the cast of TDPI contestants the better since not all of them are well developed & established well as characters since their traits are way too non realistic as they are typical walking all over the top stereotypes is way too overexagerrating to watch.
TDRR does his job very well in developing all of the teams that have their happy endings and a conclusion to their storylines and arcs during the race learning from each other through trial & tribulations that end up them on a good high note and the most developed characters from TDRR are Noah Geoff Owen Goths Kitty Emma MacArthur Ice Dancers Carrie & Devin.

the og canadian version of lindsay roasting heather is actually just one long bleep to imply that she cussed her out, but the american version dubs it with those watered down, less satisfying insults. netflix has the american version, but the english captions are from the canadian version. so if you watch with captions on, you can see just how much cartoon network needlessly censored.

STOP. COMPLAINING. ABOUT. TOTAL. DRAMARAMA. It's not targeted towards adults. It's aimed at kids. Stop watching it then. Shows don't last forever. Adults aren't the targeted demographic for dramarama. This time it's taking on the challenge of a kids show so quit complaining over a kid's cartoon.
