Who lives, who dies, who tells your story, is my favourite song from this amazing award winning musical. I love how everyone comes together to say something amazing about the young founding fathers life. It even shows how much Eliza loved Hamilton even after the terrible and tragic stuff he has done. I feel the point of the song was to show that even the worst of enemies can come together and say something nice about somebody even if they never agreed on any terms. It really shows how death can bring people together and all the connections he has made through out his life. This song is also undeniably good at highlighting the amazing accomplishments Hamilton has done during his life.

Well, if it's Rap it has to be brilliant, right, you can just feel the oppression, it just shuts off your ability to evaluate music and lyrics. All the cool kids like Hamilton and I want to be in with cool kids. It's virtue signaling to like it, but just what virtues. Perfect for sheeple.

Take the bullets out your gun, we move undercover and we move as one. One of the few lessons I remember from 5th grade civics class(circa 1997. I was always fascinated with the undercover op and last min decision that no guns needed to be fired so they removed the bullets. Then we won.

From just listening (or perhaps enduring is the better, more accurate word) to a few minutes of the songs in this musical, Hamilton, I wouldn't pay 5 cents to see it on Broadway! How this musical hasn't been an absolute flop on Broadway is nothing short of astounding!

Yorktown the only reason imo its not the best is the Hercules Muligan part which isnt very good it just feels out of place dont get me wrong Yorktown is kinda all over the place but idk I guess I just dont think the lyrics are good

Non-stop is by far the best (not that the rest are bad) and I will not accept otherwise. 11th is an insult! It is the climax of the first act, perfectly brings all the previous songs and cast together. Has the best of everything

I feel like the elizas gasp at the end is either
1. She realizes his story and others will be told because of her
2. She realizes her story is also being told
3. She sees the gates of heaven

Asking me to choose a favorite Hamilton song is like asking me to pick a favorite parent! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CHOOSE! But maybe my favorite song is Schuyler Sisters, since I listen to it every day?
reply

4: 26 not so fun fact: Philippa lost a family member shortly before the show and was actually crying. Lin asked her if she was ok while walking off stage. True castmate right there.

Wait For It REALLY grew on me and now it's one if my favorites. But my ultimate favorite isn't even on the list and I'm mad about it. TEN DUEL COMMANDMENTS. but I do agree with #1
reply

for some reason Helpless just gives me so much nostalgia for no particular reason? especially the intro, with the dimming lights and the lanterns coming down? is this weird?
reply

Thank you. Well done and informative
I would have, Perhaps, placed Elishas summary, literally writing his story, as #1. Without her, he would have died I remembered.

There's been a mistake. You'll be back, What comes next and I know him should be on respectively third, second and first place. They're both awesome and quite wow.
reply

I tried to make a list of my top songs, and then I realized.
They're all my favourite because they're all AMAZING
DAMN LIN you really outdid yourself

reply

Not including Ten Duel Commandments even in the honorable mentions feels like a major slight. Its definitely superior to Dear Theodosia. Otherwise, good list.

There are 46 songs in Hamilton
The song that is def number 46th is.
Almost there
Say no do this.
It is the worst song and the worst scene.

18: 39 I became a fan of Leslie for song alone. Man is talented & casting was amazing. 19: 17 guns and ships hell yes Ive tried singing it
reply

I don't understand why nobody likes Take A Break. It's one of the best songs in Hamilton and it's not even included in any favorites list.
reply

Satisfied is my favorite song in this amazing musical and knowing what happened to Burr after all these events is a heavy dose of irony
reply

Imo The room where it happens should be first. It's such a good song! Tbh can't believe that, for example, Schuyler Sisters are higher
reply

Now I know people will say am lieng but I actually practiced and learned and succeeded on singing guns and ships as fast as he can
reply

Absolute shame on watch mojo for this one. Washington on your side and Take a Break are the biggest snubs I've ever seen. Insane.
reply

The Room Where It Happens is my favourite song from Hamilton and its the only one that I can remember fully, lyric for lyric.
reply

4: 35 it is a crime you put this song this low
edit: 26: 17 this song too, like what is with my 2 favorites being so low

reply

Tell me why that 13: 01 i can literally hear pippa's voice over everyone elses especially at the needed her range is crazy
reply

Dear Theodosia is way underheralded, especially knowing the fate of the 2 children, whose parents both outlive them
reply

Know what would have been great? If you shut up and let us listen. THAT would have been lovely. ur voice is annoying
reply

Dear Theodosia is really sad when you realize theyre both dead by 30
Or maybe its just my daddy issues. Idk

reply

Did you know Theodosia (Aaron Burr's Daughter) actually died at 20 -21 with her husband, they were lost at sea.
reply

Satisfied, Burn and Who lives, who dies, who tells your story are my absolute favourite songs from Hamilton.
