X Men. While it had self contained episodes it was largely serialised. Fox Kids aired quite a few stories out of order. Luckily Disney+ has fixed that. Additionally the final two The New Adventures of Wonder Woman stories were switched. Diana Prince has left to work in LA and is the sole cast member in the final episode but then there was a two part story back in Washington DC where Steve Trevor was back in the cast once again and she had yet to leave. Even though the show was self contained this was the rare instance continuity came into play

After rewatching Lizzie earlier this year, I noticed that the order was all screwed up and thought that Disney+ accidentally put them in the wrong airing order, but no thats actually how they were aired, also Spongebob, yes Im aware that it is has very little continuity but the airing order of the first 3 seasons was so strange that you cant even find a list of when they were aired chronologically online

There was an early 2000s show called Higher Ground.
There were episodes that were switched with each other because an episode involving suicide had to be pushed back but that episode also introduced a character named Daisy so when watching the show there is a character in the show before she's actually introduced.

What about The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, the first season aired out of order. The fifth episode is actually the first. Also in season 3, the episode where Zack, Cody, London, and Maddie audition for their school play aired before the one of Zack, Cody, & London's first day of School and Maddie is still in Antarctica.

You know, when they re-broadcast Friends in syndication, there were some episodes missing. Reportedly, it was the one where it had Rachel smoking a cigarette. I think they removed or neglected to air it at all because showing someone being forced to smoke might send a bad message to viewers

Supernatural did a pretty good job because I never thought anything was out of order. Also Supergirl in season 1 they switched the airing of the thanksgiving episode due to current events at the time and have kept it as the airing order on Netflix.

Episode 6 of season 1 of Law & Order was the original pilot filmed in 1988. Season 1 premiered 2 years later and it REALLY shows. Theres even a totally different DA who never shows up again for the rest of the series. Really strange

Fringe didnt air the future episode out of order. Episode 19 of each season (and episode 9 of the final, shorter, season) was deliberately different to the rest of that season. Like the musical episode, the animated episode, etc

X-Men: The Animated Series is another one. I've been watching it on Disney+. Some episodes will reference something that doesn't happen until a later one, so you're like huh? I don't remember that.

In the first episode of Kim Possible Kim and Ron know who Drakken and Sheego are but then in episode 5 or 6 they dont! so I think the episodes were swapped too

Firefly wasn't number 1? It got cancelled for the simple reason it was aired out of order. No one could follow episodes / get into it because it was such a mess

Don't Trust The B On Apartment 23 must be number 1. They aired both seasons wildly out if order on ABC. Lie To Me also had episodes out of order.
