I know of a Disney villainess (actually, two) that ought to have been included in this Top 20 list. Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker of James and the Giant Peach. Those two poor excuses for family members of James were the most unbearably ruthless and mortifying females I have known. Ugh! My mother and Sponge and Spiker would be MADE FOR EACH OTHER! Yes, my mother was just as nasty to MOI as the two SP's were to poor sad James. Sponge and Spiker deserved to be choked to death in the end of that Disney film!

no surprise that Maleficent is number one, glad that Ursula was number 2 can't wait to see Melissa McArthy play her in the live-action movie, I still don't know why they made Maleficent a good guy in the live-action movie let's do a live-action Sleeping Beauty where we see Maleficent as the feared Disney villain she is in the animated movie played by Angelina Jolie not saying those were bad I did enjoy them just not what I expected. Good List

Yzma will always be my favourite, because she follows her plans but with a heart and a lot of humor. Winni from hocus pocus scared and fascinated me as a child the same way. Such underrated characters. Hope we can watch Hocus Pocus 2 very soon (fall this year) and a brand new Kuzco movie in the near future.

Warden Louis walker was played so well and helps make the adaptation from the book to the film perfect. One of the best adaptations in my opinion. Yama is a completely underrated villain as is Warden walker and madam mim. Im sorry but Glenn closes version of de ville will always be my fav. Great list!

You should also point out the Maleficent is also the main antagonist in most of Kingdom Hearts where most of the other villains are actually scared of her and her power and will do as she commands including; Ursula the sea witch, Jafar, Ophir Boogie and even Hades the Greek god of the Underworld

2 of my favorite female Disney villains are Yzma because shes hilariously funny & sassy & Cruella De Vil because like me, she has a thing for fur coats made with REAL fur. I dont have a fur coat made with real fur, but I wish I did because itd be fun for me.

No offense to maleficent, shes the mistress of evil of course. But I believe the Sanderson sisters should have been number one. Stealing children, depending on a book written by the devil himself, to me thats the most darkest thing anyone could ever imagine

Technically, Maui is the villain in that movie. Te Ka is the victim. The whole movie is about returning her stolen property to her to calm her righteous indignation.
Also, Mickey Mouse was Disney's first villain. He stole Pete's boat in Steamboat Mickey.

Why is Ursala deemed bad? I mean, Ariel signed a contract and in the contract it could have stated that Ursala could stop the kiss from happening. She didnt break contract and followed through with what would happen if Ariel didnt finish.

Yzma, for me, is the best villain! She and Kronk are so hilarious! Also, I think she'd make a better leader than Kuzco at that time to be honest. She's too charming for a villain.
