Diana was arguably the most influential humanitarian figure of the 20th century. I was born just 2 weeks after her death. I unfortunately never had the opportunity of being alive at the same time period as her but I appreciate what she did so much. She had a tragic ending but what warms my heart is the fact that, even though shes unfortunately not amongst us anymore, she won in the end. 24 years later she is still the most beloved member of the RF of all time, she helped cast a light on a lot of humanitarian causes and the peoples struggles, she managed to create such an everlasting impact that her sons still, to this day, carry out her legacy and Charles and Camilla will never get one 100th of the love and recognition she ever got. Yes, she left us too soon, but in the end, she made exactly the difference and impact that she believed was necessary in our society and thats why she will always be loved and regarded as, not only the peoples Princess, but the QUEEN of our hearts

IF there comes a time when diana is no longer relevant it won't be any time soon. she'll have to be gone far longer than 24 years. diana is one of those people that will go on eternally imo. i wouldn't be a bit surprised that 100 years from now people will be talking about the queen of hearts
the royals not knowing how much diana touched people, the world and the reaction globally to her death shows just how out of touch they are. this is one area that i give prince charles credit for. unlike his parents, he knew how big the reaction to diana's death would be and he knew that they had better get it right or else. the queen should have listened to him sooner and acted sooner regarding some things. for example, her speech the day before the funeral. she should have done that earlier in the week from balmoral, whether live or taped.

Diana's legacy is being one of the people. She was thrust into the chaotic lifestyle of The Royal Family and could've basked in the privilege of said lifestyle but because she was so terribly and deeply unhappy, decided to lead by example. She never sacrificed who she was in order to save face with certain institutions. Diana broke ranks and didn't simply perform royal duties for the cameras but followed through in those duties and created a legacy defined by her generosity and philanthropy. The People's Princess.

I just desperately hope that Charles regrets the way he treated Diana. She was a wonderful woman who Charles didn't deserve. She wanted to make a difference, to light the world, but that chance was taken from her.

Those people treated her like shit after she and Charles divorced then after she died they were like oh we miss her we will keep her legacy alive. At a minimum its annoying but I suppose at least people swallowed their pride realised they were wrong for treating a fellow human being like that. Its a bit of a double edge sword for me I guess.

Question, why are the royals even a thingsince Ive been alive the entire family minus the few who walk away from it or lets be real end up murdered, seem completely out of touch with there subjects or others. Not to mention the thousands of scandals. Also outside of Meghan markles husband they are all friggin creepy and ugly lmao.

Diana's brother Earl Spencer's words at her funeral still brings chills to my spine-
It is a point to remember that of all the ironies about Diana, perhaps the greatest was this - a girl given the name of the ancient goddess of hunting was, in the end, the most hunted person of the modern age.

She truly was a remarkable woman, she was so young but so mature and caring. As today I feel sad to think of all the wonderful things she wouldve done but couldnt. However she lives in her children who like her devote their time to these causes. Long life the peoples princess.
reply

The royal family chose her because she was a 19 year old virgin from a good family with no embarrassing background
They had no idea what they truly got
A beautiful companionate modern woman that upstaged them, not intentionally
And fought for what she believed

reply

not only from the royal family. most of her pain comes from reporters and Media. in world still people believe MEdia and fake reports ruiher wonderful life. one of the media reporter guy has said if would'nt have do it someone would do do itt

Dianas impact on her people is magical, she isnt just any celebrity that comes and goes, when you look at her shining eyes and bright smile you feel her warmth and beauty, even tho you never knew her and never met her
reply

She wasn't afraid to show the world she wasn't perfect but a normal person with flaws. She used her position to help others. Her kindness and bravery are her biggest strengths. Princess Diana the People's Princess.
reply

Money and status has nothing to do with feeling of rejection and abandonment. She made her time more connected to The British Public. This was the message is what that become her legacy to her time as a Royal.
reply

Diana will forever be iconic because of her kind and charming personality. The most beautiful inside and out. She inspires lot of people around the world even after her death. People's princess indeed
reply

Diana was better princess better in Camilla. And that way her son William is better king. No his father Charles or stepmother Camilla. Who wants they old couple be coming next King and queen. No one
reply

She is NOT relevant - at all. Best thing to happen that she was knocked off. The hell of the image of her bonking herself around europe with the ghastly novo rich and dragging her boys behind her.
reply

I have a Doll Trunk. In that trunk is a Princess Diana Doll with her top outfits by Franklin Mint. There is NO Camilla doll. Never will be. Diana will always be linked to The Throne of England
reply

Her compassionate heart was wide open for those she could help and give comfort. However, it was another way to receive the love she missed from her spouse and those that were critical of her.
reply

That thumbnail is so disrespectful. Why that Twilight girl had the AUDACITY. To play Princess Diana. I'll never understand. Not saying she can't act. But still. How dare she, all I want to know.
reply

Diana and Charles marriage reminds me of my parents like my mother was 16 when she got married to my father and they had a 25 yr age difference and they had a bad marriage and many other things
reply

Charles might have gotten his mistress/mom to the throne and fake tittles, but diana got the ultimate prize, a place in people's hearts and a name that will forever be relevant in history.
reply

She is relevant because with internet, we finally found out that behind the pretty face, there was an extremely problematic woman.
If she was ugly, I doubt she would be so famous.

reply

She wore black - shows picture of her dancing with John travolta in a midnight blue dress!
Diana made the royal family seem more accessible & relevant, we still miss her.

reply

Will never understand how some folks old enough to remember how Diana was treated will then turn around and repeat that toward Meghan. Utterly baffles and infuriates me.
reply

Shaking hand is harmless operating them is the real danger and risky business. And she us still famous mainly because of media also because of people's interest in her.
reply

William promised Diana that when he became king he would restore everything she lost in the divorce. I hope he will posthumously name her queen or queen mother.
reply

The Queen got to marry who she wanted despite her family views. But denied the love interest of both her sister and son because of beliefs. What a hypocrite.
reply

You can't not think of her when you see William and Harry. They are both great men and Diana would be very proud of them. William also looks exactly like her.
