If your number one pick wasn't what it was, I would be really disappointed. But as you progressed up the ladder, with every pick you revealed, I was more sure that it is going to be this one. It was possible, in theory, that ypu wouldn't put it on the very top. But not to include it at all? No way! :-) So if it wasn't your number 10, 9, 8, 7, 6. etc, then it had to be one! Although. it is very different from the other nine and I am even not sure if it qualifies as a female revenge movie. Yes, the protagonist is a women. But most of those she tracks and kills are also women. .

If you wanna see a really good female revenge movie, check out 2010 Bedevilled. It is a South Korean film. It is pretty violent so don't watch it if you are very sensitive. Another great movie in the same vein is a 2010 Japanese film called Confessions. It is pretty awesome as it is kinda a slick, stylish thriller that is shot very creatively with a cool soundtrack that includes music from the band Radiohead. The woman getting revenge in that movie is pretty ruthless in a very understated way. It's really a twisted movie, but very compelling.

I think its not right that you mention Kill Bill but just first chapter. Kill Bill is ONE whole movie that was just divided in two volumes and its not actually about revenge (but thats one of the subjects of course) but this is about forgiveness. You should pay attention that the bride didnt kill a single person in the second volume (including Bill. So its a very limited point of view on this movie.

Promising Young Woman was the best movie I've seen in years.
A one-season series that doesn't exactly fall in this category, but is similar and is a must-see, is I May Destroy You. Like Promising Young Woman, I can't seem to get it out of my head.

weird list, some of the most memorable movies about female revenge are only honorable mention as I spit on your grave, then you have double jeopardy not a great movie but it was a classic female revenge movie from the 90's that other movies did a copycat. And Carrie should be number 2, a classic from the 70s.

Had this video offered up and immediately thought Kill Bill is number one, bar none. was not disappointed. yet Kill Bill was revenge against one man and his cronies whose hero picks them off one by one, while Carrie was revenge on just about everyone and everything, done in one climatic unforgettable scene.

I don't know if it counts because the revenge plot ends up unresolved, but you got to admit that Gone Girl was an amazing revenge movie-with more psychological revenge than physical.

Kill Bill was, of course, a fantastic movie. Its one of my top favorite movies. The ending for the first, imho, one sort of made most of her bloody satisfaction a moot point.
