Well, let me tell you one phobia I overcame that is now a mild case of anxiety for me: urinals. I've had it since I was probably three or four years old. I think the first time I had ever seen a urinal was at Hannaford (formerly known as Shop n' Save. I was walking by the two toilet stalls in the men's room and I saw an opening and I was curious to know what was behind it and in those days, to me, the only item in a bathroom besides a toilet and a sink was a bathtub. But it wasn't a bathtub, it was a silly-looking toilet that looked like a water fountain, only a little taller. Then came one day I was at a department store called Rich's and I was asleep when my dad took me to the men's room and when I woke up, I was on a toilet with a tall handle and I looked ahead and there was a urinal right there in front of me and that was part of what started my fear of urinals. Then another day we were at the old Center Drive School and I was walking by the toilet stalls and I saw a a bigger opening than the one in Shop n' Save. This time there were two urinalsand I just walked away. Another one of my old phobias was the sight of more than one airplane. Even on footage such as TV, it creeped me out to see more than one plane at one time. I even had a moderate anxiety of bathtub faucets on the right side of a bathtub that lasted less about ten years from age six to age sixteen.

One of my favorite actors was afraid of clowns and hot air balloons (never heard of someone being afraid of hot air balloons before. He overcame it or weakened the fear by dressing up as a psycho clown and skydive out of the hot air balloon (one of his hobbies it parachuting. He actually posted a video of it and I thought it was adorable with his wife waiting on the ground for him and gave him a victory kiss.

Some of these are legit. I hate the texture of dry paper, I get extreme anxiety when I have to use the phone, and metal/wire hangers are THE WORST! (Especially doing a show and you're doing a quick change and all the metal hangers clang to the floor) I have a fear of animal milk.

Im not a celebrity but I have a phobia of spiders and heights and airplanes. I don't remember seeing the commercials on raisins because that was before I was born so I'm sorry. Speaking of owls they remind me of America's best when it comes to prescription glasses

I honestly have the strangest phobia. I am terrified of Richard Simmons. If hes on TV, I have to leave the room. I dont like clowns, either, so maybe its a cross between the hair, loud costumes, and his loud in-your-face voice. And now I have the heebie-jeebies.

These are strange & awfully crazy phobias. I can understand dolls, some of them look actually possessive. Furby dolls kinda scare me. They literally look possessive AF. Dry paper & Giraffes & owls. Those 3 really got me!

I actually understand Tatum's fear! After watching Chucky I hated dolls of all kinds! That fear has calmed alot but I still get creeped out! And I also have a fear of swimming pools like Christina! Thanks Jaws!

I understand Cristina Ricci's fear. Worse than a pool where you can see everything in it, is actually open water, especially the ones you can't see very far and then suddenly giant squid coming at you.

I have a phobia of all birds. Its serious, I go into full panic mode. Been that way since I was like 6-7. I think its also like an irrotational fear because I dont like birds.

I have the same fear of swimming pools. Also for open water and when I was little, I had the same fear every time I had to take a bath. I still shower instead of taking a bath.

I kind of agree with Channing. Porcelain dolls are know as Chuckie and he is definitely a big fear. Helen's fear is also agreed because you don't really know who your calling.
reply

I love learning people's phobias lol. but the worst is when someone is afraid of something silly, so other people try to scare them with it. I hate that!

Hey, it was really shitty to make this video, it stigmatizes mental health and presents it as a curiosity rather than sensitively.
reply

Megan Fox's thing with dry paper sounds more like a sensory issue than a fear. Probably just doesn't like the way it feels

Helen Miren's fear of phones is very relatable. Talking on the phone is terrifying for me but I'm okay with texting and email.

That's funny. When I was 8, my face was hit hard by a soccer ball. I'm not afraid of that sport, but I HATE it ever since.
