It's true that in many movies and TV shows, there is often pressure on Superman and Supergirl to conform to human-centric morality. This can be a result of storytelling choices and the need to make the characters relatable to human audiences. However, it is worth noting that there have been instances in various adaptations where their alien origins and perspectives have been explored, allowing them to develop their unique moral compass.
While the external influences on their moral behavior are often portrayed as predominantly human-centric, the characters themselves have demonstrated the ability to make decisions based on their principles and beliefs. Their experiences on Earth, coupled with their innate sense of justice and responsibility, allow them to navigate moral dilemmas using their own established values.
Still, it would be interesting to see more storytelling that delves deeper into the exploration of Superman and Supergirl's distinct moral perspectives and their ability to develop their system of values. This could provide greater insight into how their alien origins shape their understanding of right and wrong, highlighting the importance of embracing diverse ethical perspectives.
Ultimately, it is up to the writers and creators of these adaptations to choose how they portray the moral development of Superman and Supergirl. Balancing the relatability of the characters with the exploration of their unique moralities can be a compelling narrative choice that promotes diversity and encourages viewers to think beyond human-centric perspectives.

I loved this series. I especially loved the fact that she left at her own terms. Not because of poor ratings or lack of story. Even gave us an awesome spinoff. There was nothing more in Arrow to tell. The flash has been running on fumes since season 6. Legends( I wanted to see more of booster gold) and batwoman( The s3 finale was awesome) got unfortunately canceled. I have not even watched a single episode of now canceled Naomi. Black Lightning was barely in the arrowverse.

Melissa was soooo good as SuperGirl and I can never picture anyone else playing the part - her acting was fantastic and her kindness comes across in the character so genuine that you just know it is really a part of Melissa's true personality. She is a fantastic actress and her and Chyler gave us a fantastic show - I miss them very much - seems they should still be making new shows.

Sorry not sorry, but the final ep contradicted all what Kara stood for and wanted for 5 seasons. Revealing her identity was the dumbest thing they could have done and it showed crealy they had no idea what to do with her. Also, the show establsihed that Kara was a coward for hidding her identity what is absolutely pathetic. 6 years of wasted potential and storylines

When Alex & the gang finally gets her out of the fantom zone. Seeing Alex, a human, embrace her traumatized super-sister saying Ive got you, through the end of an epitome and a whole following up one, is so powerful. Shining a light on relationships over mere strengths and on sisterhood over romance (its a not a man or a spouse that saved her, its her sister.

When Supergirl proves to Coville and his followers that she isn't a god under the stadium. That and when she stops Olivia from making a new Worldkiller in Season 3 are amazing. Though there are MANY scenes in the show that I could list right now. Supergirl will always be a comfort show for me. I've watched it at least 20 times

I really love Supergirl, a part where I really enjoyed was when she was with Lena and her secretary, then some Lex followers enter to L corp and Lena didn't let Kara alone so she had to keep them away as Kara and not as Supergirl, and if the Supercorp would've been canon I'm sure that would be the best moment of the serie

Sigh i used to be so in love with the show during the 1st second and third season but after that I just couldnt do it anymore I hate that they put politics in it! politics do not belong in superhero business or in fiction period! people want realism, relatability, good storylines, escapism its as simple as that

I used to Like this Series and there's alot of Great Moments, however after Rewatching it Multiple Times and the Ending of the Series made me Realize that I was in Denial and it's One of the Worst Series I've ever seen in my Life, I wish I could Love it but there's Too Many Things that Ruins It.

I'm sorry, but the fact that you completely ignored the storyline with Mon-El (The love of Kara's life, according to the show runners) makes this video biased. You did everything possible even not to say his name. and he was as imporant part of Kara's story as any of the others. It's disrespectful.

The scene with Red Tornado was it for me. Kara poured EVERYTHING into her heat vision and the audience could feel it. Superman is my FAVORITE superhero and I've been at it since the black and white George Reeves Superman. But Melissa was BORN for that role, like Christopher Reeves and Tom Welling.

Notice how all the best moments of Kara's are mainly from season 1 (and a bit of 2) and everything from further seasons are of other characters. Supergirl writers forgot how to write their own damn protagonist and it's the biggest shame of all

Maybe in a few years Melissa Benoist and friends will feel up to coming back for a film or miniseries featuring Kara Danvers, also known as Superwoman.
Maybe she'll be married and have a husband at home looking after their child.

Kara battle with Reign was her top fight. Why was that not in here? Also, Kara stopping the Alien ship in Season 3? Also, the number 1 with Kara telling the world she is Supergirl goes against EVERYTHING the 100th Episode was about.

My favourite Supergirl moment was when she revealed her identity to Lena in season 5's first episode. Imo it was one of the most emotionally charged scenes of the show. It was practically what everyone was waiting for.

Ms. Mojo, thank you so much for placing emotional moments as most of the significant ones in the series history.
Too many people would've made this bout fight scenes; this is a much deeper list.
THANK YOU!

While I like Supergirl, Melissa Benoist and the cast, only Season 1 and some episodes of Season 2 are the best ones.
Before the Dark times, before CW turns into another feminists superhero show.

You should include the episode where Winn's father escapes from prison and Kara tells Winn that she would be lost without him, It really shows how much their friendship means to each other.

What about when Alex decided to stop protecting her sister and helped train her to be the best hero she could be. Also their talk after the Red K incident was one of the best scenes.

If the DCEU ever needs a Supergirl, a replacement for Ezra Miller, and a Arrow they should really consider the CW cast of those characters.
