Will Ferrell did deserve the Mark Twain prize. about a decade after he won it. He'd been in the public consciousness for a little over 15 years by that point. Bill Murray, Eddie Murphy, David Letterman, Julia Louis Dreyfus, among others, had been around twice that long and were at LEAST as important to the landscape of comedy as Ferrell had been. Letterman completely changed the landscape of late night television for heaven's sake.

In my opinion you missed one of the funniest moments. I don't recall the year bur it was the Tony Awards. Kristen Chenoweth was presenting the award for leading actress in a musical. She came outvand began giving an acceptance speech. Host Sean Hayes went to the podium and told her that she didn't win. She replied that's unusual. Then he told her that she wasn't nominated. She got this look on her face and then fainted.

Why would be funny the fact that MTV gave Michael Jackson a fake award on his birthday? He created MTV, they would have been nothing without him. He was so heartbroken (he cried) when he found out that it was fake and people made fun of him after that. Britney didn't know about it either. She was glad to present the award to her idol. This shouldn't be on the list.

I loved Billy Crystal's entry at the 1992 Oscars when he dressed up as Hannibal Lector. I loved everything about that. And also when James Corden and Rebel Wilson dressed up in the Cats movie costumes at the Oscars and clawed the microphone I could not stop laughing!
