I'm sorry but some of these shouldnt be up here let alone multiple pros ahem (Derek Hough) be mentioned multiple times. I been a DWTS watcher since the first episode and have seen countless underrated emotional dances. Just to name a few below:
Season 13: JR & Karina Rumba
Season 14: Sherri & Val Rumba
Season 15: Sabrina & Louie Rumba
Season 24: Rashad & Emma Contemporary
Season 25: Jordan & Lindsey Rumba
Season 25: Lindsay & Mark Waltz
Season 29: Skai & Alan Foxtrot
Season 30 Jimmy & Emma Contemporary

I don't watch the show anymore, but oh. what a waste of talent. Derek Hough should still be a contestant, not a judge. His choreography is unreal and in so many different genres. He's just too young to be stuck behind a desk, judging. I'm sure he has other projects, but. ugh. Can't believe he's only got three Emmys.

I hate that Lauren Alaina's Contemporary isn't included anywhere. She danced to the song she wrote called The Other Side that she wrote for her stepfather that she lost to cancer. Seeing her reach for her mother, and her reach back brought the tears, her tears at the end had me going.

Laurie Hernandez and Val's foxtrot (Season 23) right after she found out her grandmother passed always brings me to tears, and Lindsey Stirling and Mark's Viennese Waltz (Season 25, which she said was like getting to dance with her late father one more time, are the two that always get me.

I feel that Victoria Arlen and her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy should have been remembered for the dance that culminated in her coming face to face with the wheelchair shed used for many years due to paralysis secondary to Transverse Myelitis and Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis.

Definitely for me it's Katherine Jenkins' waltz in tribute to her father back in 2012; Bindi irwin's contemporary dance to her father back in 2015; Lea Thompson's contemporary (tribute to her father too ) back in 2014; & JR Martinez's Rumba in 2011

Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas should of been on the list. Their Viennese Waltz in honor of her late father was tear jerking. Not to mention that Mark was wearing her dad's scarf and hat so it was like he was there on the dance floor.

For James Hinchcliffe, I would have gone for the dance where he narrated what he remembers from the accident at IMS. He had his shirt open so you can see where the piece of the car went through him. It was really more emotional, I think.
reply

Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnolds contemporary always gets to me and Jordin Sparks and Brandon Armstrongs jazz routine also Bobby bones and sharna contemporary routine about his moms addiction and dad leaving that gets me too
reply

the only one that made me cry (like. ugly cry) is billy Crawford's performance in dancing with the stars France. he had a great performance about the time he was addicted to alcohol and the moment he got out of it.
reply

Keo and Evanna Lynch's contemporary in honor of director and Evanna's friend Simon Fitzmaurice who passed away from ALS. It's the only dance I saw live that made me cry. I'm shocked it wasn't even an honorable mention.
reply

I came to see if Amanda Kloots routine to Live Your Life was on here. I dont watch DWTS (Strictly Come Dancing loyalist) but I found the routine because I loved Nick and I love Amanda and her family. Life isnt fair.
reply

Tamar Braxton and Val's dance should have been included. She dedicated her dance to her then husband. She nearly lost him to pulmonary embolism only to have to drop out the competition after developing one herself
reply

I went into this saying that Bindi Irwin would be number one and I was right but where was Jana Kramer's performance about her domestic violence relationship and how having her daughter helped mend her soul?
reply

Besides Selma Blair's goodbye dance, there were two others from season 31 that made me emotional: Charli & Mark's contemporary about her overcoming anxiety, and Trevor & Emma's Halloween contemporary.
reply

Lea Thompson and Artem's contemporary for her father always seems to be forgotten but it was beautiful. Also agree with others that Mark and Lindsey Sterling's waltz should be on this list too
reply

If I had a nickel for every time Mark Ballas dressed in black to personify his white-dressed partner's inner demons, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but weird that it happened twice
reply

Aww I was hoping they show James Van Der Beek doing the Foxtrot with partner Peta he dedicated that dance to his wife who unfortunately had a miscarriage during the run. that had me in tears
reply

I watched Bindis dance again and tears started streaming down my eyes! To anyone who has lost someone especially a parental figure like I have it tugs at your heartstrings! So beautiful!
reply

Finally seeing a James and Sharna routine making the top 10. His freestyle was also very emotional tbh
I would have thought to expect Nyle and Peta's Freestyle to Sound of Silence.

Think this video might need to change after Selmas withdrawal dancing and the whole thing that went with it. Probably one of the most emotional things to have happen on the show.
reply

The dance that finds me getting all emitional. These Arms of Mine. Jennifer Grey abd Detek Hough. On rhe Day two final. Especially knowing she was dancing with a nerve block.
reply

Another big emotional dance was Charli DAmelios dance when it came to her depression and anxiety. I cried during that whole dance. I was shocked it didnt get a perfect score.
reply

Derek Hough and Kellie Pickler's freestyle dance got me. The songs words and the moves at the right time of the song were perfect for everything she went through
reply

I personally think Karina Smirnoff and J. R. Martinez's Rumba should be in this list. I've seen every season, and few dances have affected me like that one did.
reply

Trevor Donovan and Emma Slaters contemporary to Ghost on Halloween was VERY emotional, especially since you think Halloween is going to be just a fun night
reply

I imagine that Steve Irwin is within the audience very proud to seeing his daughter dance dedicated to him and his family keep his legacy alive.
reply

Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas' Viennese waltz just about killed me. The choreography was just stunning. It truly took my breath away.
reply

I think Kel and Whitneys contemporary deserved more than an honorable mention I remember watching it for the 1st time and my eyes out
reply

Jimmie Allen and Emmas contemporary to A Quiet Place dance stills gets me! The ending sent chills through me, followed by tears!
